Hanson’s third studio album, Underneath, takes the band to both new musical heights and in a creative direction. Though undeniably “Hanson,” Underneath shows a more organic side to the Oklahoma power-trio. Songs such as the title track “Underneath,” written with indie-darling Mathew Sweet, portray the sincerity and depth of a band already 12 years into their career.
