Biography
I am a stay at home mom with a son who will be turning one year old on June 28th 2010. He is my world! His name is Wyatt and he is the greatest joy in my life. I have been married to my husband, Kevin, for almost 2 years. He is my best friend and biggest supporter in everything I do. I have been unemployed for a year and a half now with unfortunately no luck in finding a job. It has been very frustrating, but I've gotten to spend much more time with my little boy, so it has kind of been a blessing in disguise. I been a Hanson Fan for 13 years and counting. I relate to Hanson's music more than any other artist. I decided to get a Hanson Tattoo in 2004 not because I'm an obsessed fan, though some might argue that point (hahaha) but I did it because a tattoo should be personal, a reflection of something that touches you deep in your soul. I've always been the type of person who believes "when you can't get through it, you can listen to it". It was always a Hanson song, or album that got me through the rough times, and on occasion literally saved my life. The music has continued to be with me through the good times like when my son was born. That's what is great about music, it will always be there when you need it. I appreciate Hanson's music because it is self written, played, and performed. Hanson has never pretended to be what they're not just to sell records. It's always been about being true to the music. I respect that most of all. I have already begun to share this music with my son and hope to continue that with future records. Thank you, Hanson for all the music over the years, for all the concerts, walks, and just the greatest "Musical Ride" of my life.
Interests
Obviously I am really into music, Hanson has been my favorite band since Middle of Nowhere was released. I first saw them play MMMBop on the Today Show in 1997, when I was 11 years old and I was hooked. I am very much a mom, even before my son was born, I have always enjoyed spending time with children and teaching them. Children are God's greatest gift to us. I would also like to be more active in the fight against AIDS. I have participated in some local awareness walks as well as 3 barefoot walks with Hanson. AIDS has to be cured, and it has to be cured now! Too many people are infected simply because they are uneducated about prevention.
