i need the advice of someone unrelated to the current drama in my life. my best friend (amy) got mad at me a few weeks ago because at a fair we went to she wanted to talk to someone for something and asked me to go, but i didn't really want to and my other friends were playing a game that i wanted to watch, which was like 30 feet from where she was talking. she stormed off and didn't talk to me the rest of the day. then she started crying to my other friend (annie), saying that she wouldn't leave her best friend (laura). annie said she would leave laura and has in the past, so amy got upset that annie was on my side. then she didn't talk to me for a while. that night laura invited me to go camping with her and annie. i was gone for a week. when i got back amy texted me and asked why i hadn't slept over her aunt's house (this had been planned a while back, but i didn't know any specifics) and i said i didn't know when it was, which was true. then i didn't talk to her until she invited me to a party at her house. but at her house we barely talked, she was sitting next to another friend that i don't like (emma) and whispering and texting. then she didn't answer any of my texts for a week. today we went to a guy friend's house, but she ended up not coming. her statuses have been depressing, so i asked her if anything was okay. annie also asked. she told me she was fine. she ranted to annie about how her family is having issues, volleyball is hard, work sucks, and that she's upset because i made a last minute decision to go to camp. then she said me and annie were bad friends, but she wasn't mad at laura (the one who invited me to camp) and that she noticed us change in april (idk what that's about). she also said that the only person she could rely on was emma, who in all honesty is a pathalogical liar who would be the first person to stab amy in the back. annie said she had an idea of how to fix it, but i don't know if i want it to be fixed. i'll never be able to trust her again after this, especially because she's been talking behind my back this entire time. i don't know what to do, and i'm really upset that all of this drama happened. i'm usually the one who avoids drama. annie calls me the nicest person in our friend group and always says that i'm the only one who she doesn't fight with. and i always avoid the other drama that enters our lives...

--i would lose my favoirte band plus all of my other favorite artists who opened for them such as steel train, locksley, and sherwood.
--i would lose my friends making fun of me for liking them (which i sometimes enjoy because at least they know who hanson is =] )
--i would lose the 6 amazing nights of my life that i got to see them in concert (and the 1 super amazing day that i got my picture with zac after the walk)
--i would lose all of my hanson lyric inspired facebook statuses
--i would lose all of the times their music has comforted me when i was upset
--i would lose my entire bedroom walls full of hanson posters, lyrics, and stickers
--i would lose this website
and most importantly:
--i would lose my love of music, because hanson and connected bands make up the majority of my ipod that i listen to every day

other than that, the game was pretty vicious. so many yellow cards, and even a red card?! and when alfonso got kicked in the chest, that should have been a red card on the netherlands. but it was a good game, i can't believe it was only over in the last 4 minutes of overtime. i was so sure it would go to penalty kicks...

so i really like this guy and i have since may. we've talked alot, not so much in the last few weeks but we've held plenty of conversations. he found out i liked him (i made it obvious and my friend told him) but hasn't said anything. I've only actually seen him once since he found out i liked him, but everytime we try to plan something he says he can go then backs out of it. i'm leaving on friday for a 3 week summer college thing and i don't know if it's time to give up on my crush or keep trying to talk to him. i might see him wednesday (if he actually comes) and if i talk to him maybe i'll know what to do, but i just wanted to see what everyone else thought about this. i'm kind of hopeless with guys so i don't really know how to think about this..

England should have won...that USA goal should not have went in. I have to say i'm very disappointed =[ it was me rooting for england against the 3 guys in my house who were for USA and they are very vocal guys lol

i got my first toms a while back, then demanded white ones for christmas so i could attempt at being an artist (didn't work too well lol). and the other day i was at a college tour and my tour guide said "cool toms" and mentioned how his first pair were coming in the next day, which i thought was so awesome because i have never actually met anyone around here who wears them =]

Thank you both for your advice. I'll try and follow most of it. Reading what you wrote made me feel better and helped me realize that I can fix some of this stuff. I hope everything works out for me too. =]

Before reading this understand that it is just teenage drama. It is completely irrelevent to any life changing problems and I know that I'm just a silly kid and that my problems now will seem stupid later in life. However, you must also understand that I'm having a bad week and just need to rant.

1st problem: I'm currently failing math class, which I have had 100s in since I started school. How this happened? I have no idea. I study just as much as normal and do all of my homework. Maybe the topics are getting harder? But it still upsets me a lot.

2nd problem: I'm stressed because I have AP tests next week. I say that I don't care about what I get on them, but I really do. This entire year has been a struggle for me: my average dropped three points, my grade is continually dropping in AP US history, and I have gotten my first B's on quarter averages, and then a D on my midterms. I want to get 4s on the tests to make this horrible year worth it, but I'm not sure that I can do it and its freaking me out.

3rd problem: Prom. I'm going with my best guy friend. No big deal. Except for the fact that getting everything for prom and the drama that its caused is driving me crazy. First my friends had an issue with how we were getting there. And then tables. Tables are for 8 to 10 ppl. We have a group of 12. So me and my best friend were booted. Now I have to sit with people I barely talk to.

4th problem: My friends cousin has begun hanging out with us. Last weekend we were at my house watching movies. He was sitting next to me and he put his arm around me, and since it was late at night i was almost falling asleep against him. We also began really talking. And I developed a crush on him. I didn't tell anyone because I wasn't sure if it was just a "he paid attention to me so i like him" kind of crush, but now i know it's not. Because my best friend told me she liked him and I was kinda crushed. A whole group went to the movies tonite, which is why she now has a crush on him, but I couldn't go because I had family stuff. My best friend has had a boyfriend for 3 years, and they broke up last week. I'm pissed because I think shes just flirting with him to get back at her ex. But shes going to tell this boy that she likes him. And I don't want to say anything about me liking him because I'm not the type of person that deals with these kinds of problems (i've only had 1 boyfriend my entire life). So now I have to listen to her gush about him and try not to get too upset.

5th problem (and the biggest problem): I can't go to a Hanson concert this summer because they're not coming to Albany =[

So I think thats the end of my trivial problems. I told you they were stupid. If you actually read them all you're amazing. If you didn't I honestly don't care because I just needed to get this down somewhere. If you care to give some advice or words of comfort it would be greatly appreciated.

I meant 1 date in all of new york, not NYC. and I understand that NY gets the 5 of 5 and stuff but hardly anyone from NY is actually there. watching the live stream last night they asked who wasn't from NY and almost everyone raised their hands. I would prefer them not to go to NYC, but come to Albany instead
