My first TOMS were the Classics, the plain Red Canvas ones. I absolutely LOVED them! I wore them with jeans and t-shirts, or shorts. But the only thing with mine were that after about 3 1/2 months of wear, they started to rip holes in the toes really easily! They were perfectly sized, so it's not like my toes were rubbing up against the shoes all the time. Happy Hanson Day! When I moved to St Kitts for veterinary school, I thought "I won't be able to go to a Hanson show for at least another 4 years!"...but now they're coming to Jamaica, which is sooo close!!! I got so excited, thinking maybe I could hop over for a long weekend, or maybe it would fall over my school break or something.....
but then I saw the concert dates, and I will be in school that whole week!!! NOOOO!!!
So Hanson, if you are looking for another Caribbean destination to play, COME TO ST KITTS!! It's beautiful here, and the Marriott Resort & Casino is truly something to behold! Also, for $80/year, you can get a subscription to Amazon Prime...which allows you to buy books for cheaper, and maybe rent movies and stuff for cheaper too, i'm not sure. You get 1 month free of Amazon Prime once you buy your kindle, which is nice. Once my 1 month free of Prime was up, I didn't renew and I haven't really missed it. But yes, I LOVE my kindle fire!! It's so handy because it's small, but it can really store a lot of things! And the picture quality for movies and stuff is really great! Wow, that is so neat! I wish I'd had one of those when I was living in my apt last year! You're very creative to come up with something like that. You could even make more and sell them, I'd buy one! I made a youtube video of my cat doing some sweet jumps, and the background song to the video is Hanson's "Worlds on Fire". I put a copyright disclaimer in the info area of the video, but the audio was still disabled! How do I get Youtube to put the audio back on?? Maybe he thinks the cats are strays, so he might be giving them away? You should tell your neighbor to put a collar with tags on her cats if she doesn't already so he knows they're not strays. If you do find any solid evidence that he may be killing/torturing the cats, call the police right away! Sometimes cats are used as bait to train dogs in dog fighting rings. I love them! They're more comfortable than they look. I like that they have support for your arches inside the shoes, and they're narrow enough that they don't slip off my feet (which tends to happen with flats for me). The length is good, and they don't smash my toes in on the ends. If the stray dog was friendly and came up to me, I would take him home and keep him until the shelter/animal control was able to find his owners. I like to think someone would do the same for my pets if they got loose. However, if the dog runs away from me or isn't friendly, I would call animal control. After all, that's their job to get dangerous animals off the street. I would hate to let it go and find out the next day it attacked a child or something. I took in a stray cat this summer that kept coming up onto our deck, and kept him separate from our 2 cats until the shelter called and said they had a spot for him. It makes me feel good to do something like that. Especially since he didn't have an owner and was really skinny and had ear mites, until I got him fixed up!
