Well, it was started by a science fiction writer who stated more than once that if you really want to make money you should start a religion.  I also don't trust any 'religion' in which you have to pay to advance to some new level.  Faith should be spread freely.  I don't claim to be overly informed on Scientology, but what I have read about it sounds like a crock.  It sounds like it was made up by a science fiction writer because it was.

I'm with you.  It's ridiculous that it isn't legal yet.  And the argument it could lead to  marrying an animal is so laughable that it's sad.  Anyone who honestly believes that is ignorant, and I don't care if I offend anyone saying that because it's true.

But unfortunately I don't see marriage equality happening for a while b/c politicians know how passionately against it some people are and they milk it for all it's worth.  Same-sex marriage is used to deflect from real issues.  I know countless people who admit that they choose who to vote for based on two things:  their stance on abortion and same-sex marriage.

Anyway, I think it's a disgrace that the laws towards animal cruelty aren't stricter in our country.  People do not have a right to intentionally harm another living creature.  We know that animals are capable of feeling pain, and intentionally hurting one especially for sport is sadistic.  There should be mandatory psychological counseling for anyone convicted of animal cruelty because anyone who can watch an innocent being suffer and enjoy it needs help.

Seems like they get more wrong than right.  Dog fighting is illegal and selling videos of it is only encouraging it.  And how on earth is it free speech???  Anyway, how could it lead to a ban on hunting videos? Surely they could make the law specify it's only illegal to release videos of illegal activities involving animals.  Or is it too hard for them to draw up a bill that specific?  Idiots...

oh cool, one of the guys (I'm guessing Isaac) tweeted about it last night.  Carney is in the lead now, but they still need votes b/c it doesn't end until tomorrow.  It's a really cool vid. so if you haven't voted, please do :)

Carney have a video for their single "Love Me Chase Me" that they're trying to get into regular rotation on MTVu.  It's really close right now and voting ends on April 2.  People can vote multiple times so if you can, vote more than once.  It's a really cool video, so I'm hoping it gets added.  If you haven't heard of the band (though I'm sure a lot of people on here have b/c Taylor and Zac have both talked about the band), you should check them out. They're really good & seem like cool guys.
