Secondly, it warms my heart to know you all want to support such a great cause, families in need in our own neighborhoods!

Lastly, our team now has 33 members. I started off with myself and 4 other Hanson fans and 250 lbs! We have pledged a total of 1,050 lbs now! Holy crap! Spread the word, even to non-fans! my mother, sister, and 2 friends are on the team as non-fans.

For you guys and anyone else wondering, I've lost most of my weight by following the Weight Watchers plan. There is an iPhone app which makes it sooo easy! It's kind of expensive and not everyone can afford it, but if you can, I highly recommend it!

Hey everyone, figured I'd post this on the public side as well as the Members Only side!

Anyway, if you don't know know what the Pound for Pound Challenge is, it's a way to help families in need while YOU get in shape! For every pound lost pledged by someone, a pound of food is donated to families in need in your own community! I have already started a team, called "Hanson Fans"! www.pfpchallenge.com! When registering it asks for your zip code, and although it technically is only open to US residents, if you put in a US zipcode, such as Tulsa's, you can still register and your pounds lost pledge, will go to families in need in Tulsa (or whatever city you choose)! And then just search for the team "Hanson fans" and join us!

My personal journey started in 2005 when after battling issues with my thyroid (it was overactive, so they had to kill it and now its nonfunctioning so I have no metabolism). Last year, I weighed myself one morning and was astonished by the scale, so I decided that it was time to stop and think. I am now 65 lbs lighter and still have a lot to go. I pledged 50 lbs, althought I wish I had pledged more because i'd like to at least lose another 60-75!

So, please join us! And if you know anyone who would like to join who is NOT a Hanson fan, they are still more than welcome to join our team! Thanks everyone!
