- My sisters bought Middle of Nowhere back in 97 and I listened to it constantly. I was 3! Ever since I've heard MMMBop, Hanson has been an inspiration to me in just about any way you can be inspired. When I was 5 I began to tap along with the beats of "Live From Albertane" with a vintage snare drum. I'm 17 now and I have been playing at a professional level since I was 9. I have never had any formal lessons and I play totally by ear. I've learned everything I know about drums from watching and listening to Zac.
