I stand for Planned Parenthood. 

For anyone who actually wants to know the FACTS:

- Title X funding does not go to abortion. Federal funding for abortions is already prohibited by the Hyde Amenment. 

- Title X funding DOES help provide breast cancer screenings, pap exams, HIV/STI testing, and birth control for thousands of women/

- Planned Parenthood's "main service" is preventative care - to prevent unintended pregancies, to prevent the transmission of HIV/STIs, and to prevent the devlopment of HPV/cervical cancer/breast cancer through well woman/pap exams.

- Many PPHs do not provide abortions services, only preventative care.  I have personally worked in 3 such clinics locally. The arguement that Planned Parenthood provides goverment funded abortions is completely misguided. Weather or not you agree with abortion has no bearing on funding for women's health. 

I definitely wait to listen to snowed in until after thanksgiving (november 25th). :)
