Biography

Colleen is a Christian young woman who is kind, sweet, friendly, fun and funny and very nice. She has no guile and has a heart of gold. Colleen suffers with (severe)OCD-Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Tourette's Syndrome and Learning Disabilities. The combination of the OCD Mental Health illness, the Neurological TS and the Learning Disabilities can be a difficult struggle for Colleen.... despite the fact that her disabilities are not always readily apparent. Some people need to become more tolerant of the people with disabilities and become aware that those people with limitations detest their symptoms more than others. Despite her illnesses, however, Colleen loves life, people and has a positive outlook. Colleen is a joy to be around and brings cheer to people. Because Colleen is disabled, she posts differently from others and she cannot help it! However, she also writes some beautiful thoughts and poetry. Hanson.net has been very accepting of Colleen since she joined in H.Net's beginning Feb. 2000. Many fans have come to know Colleen; having met her over all of these Hanson years and they see that she is such a beautiful person. We all need to learn about each other and become accepting.
