I prefer Hanson's success now. I mean I am happy that they got to experience what they did back in the day, but I think they reached a comfortable position? About the merchandise comment - Hanson has always released merchandise like this. And a lot of fans want merchandise, so it's a mutual decision. I like it when they release different items and I'm happy with what they've given so far. Hanson can release merchandise sometimes faster than they can with music so it's part of keeping up with their relationships with the fans. How many of you had your first Hanson concert recently? I am going to do what I can to see them this tour. I am still saving up for it. I have been a fan since 97 and I am mentally kicking myself over and over for not seeing them sooner. I went as far as going to Japan two years in a row to see a Japanese rock band live. I did what I could to get front row, to meet them, and support them. And I thought to myself, why oh why did I not do this to Hanson yet!?!?!? I never thought I could go to their concert because they played like 6 hours away from me and I'd have to go alone, which was different with my trips to Japan. I wasn't really alone both times I went. Now I partially wished I could go back in time... I have wanted to study abroad for like 5 years or so. I finally decided to do something about it and I started applying for schools. I don't think I can go until next year and my destination is England, partially because it has to do with a large part of my heritage. But I am having a hard time parting home, not just because it's my home. I'll miss the few family and friends I have dearly. I feel like there isn't much here for me at all, but I don't want to part from Hanson. lol It seems like going to Europe would make it difficult for me to follow them. I had hoped to go to several shows on their next tour to make up for the fact that I haven't been to any, but I don't know if they will tour in time for that. I know they'll probably do international shows too, but it's not the same. I could go to more shows here. I'm sorry for your loss! I know what that's like. I lost my Dad when I was 14 and it can be really hard. I also experienced something similar. It wasn't over a deah, but a guy once hurt my feelings pretty bad. It took me months to get over it, until I started listening to Hanson again. Their music actually helped me get over him all the more because it gave me something else to focus on.
