I can't stand Broken Angel. It's just too depressing to me. But I love every other song.

The one about the car salesman is called Flywheel. It never came to theaters, just straight to DVD.

How come, just out of curiousity? When we go to see movies in theaters, it's like we're voting for them. So going to see it opening weekend helps tell Hollywood that we want more family friendly wholesome movies.

I'm so sorry that your experience with Christians has been mostly negative. That's not the way it should be. The church has forgotten that it should be a safe place where broken people can come together to heal, not a place of judgement. We all sin. And in God's economy, all sin is the same. Lying is just as bad as murder. Which is a humbling thought for me personally. Anyway, know that Jesus still loves you, and please try to find a church family that will welcome you and love you as you are. People have to have changed hearts before they can change their behaviors.

I haven't read it, but Fireproof is an amazing movie. It has helped change a lot of marriages. And I'm so excited that their new movie Courageous is coming out on September 30!! Make sure you go see it, it's gonna be awesome.

I love "This is Home" by Switchfoot at the end of Narnia: Prince Caspian. And all of the music from A Walk to Remember, especially the Switchfoot stuff. And of course during the credits of The Borrowers is one of my favorites - "Weird" by our favorite band, Hanson! :)

Maybe it's just me, but it didn't sound like the person who started this thread was complaining. It sounded like they were hoping for more dates to be added, and when they found out that they aren't any more dates to be added they were sad that they won't get to see Hanson this year. Sounds reasonable to me. I'm sad about not getting to see Hanson this year. It's just a fact.

I'm giving up secular music and lemonade. So that means I've been listening to Hanson non-stop for the last two weeks to prepare myself. I can do it, though. I survived last year. lol

I didn't mean that there was a conspiracy of any sort. I just meant that the money is going to Planned Parenthood, and even though Planned Parenthood does some good healthcare stuff, they still do abortions, so the money is still going to an organization that does abortions.

I stand for Planned Parenthood.

For anyone who actually wants to know the FACTS:

- Title X funding does not go to abortion. Federal funding for abortions is already prohibited by the Hyde Amenment.

- Title X funding DOES help provide breast cancer screenings, pap exams, HIV/STI testing, and birth control for thousands of women/

- Planned Parenthood's "main service" is preventative care - to prevent unintended pregancies, to prevent the transmission of HIV/STIs, and to prevent the devlopment of HPV/cervical cancer/breast cancer through well woman/pap exams.

- Many PPHs do not provide abortions services, only preventative care.  I have personally worked in 3 such clinics locally. The arguement that Planned Parenthood provides goverment funded abortions is completely misguided. Weather or not you agree with abortion has no bearing on funding for women's health.

Whether or not the goverment says the funding goes to the abortion aspect of Planned Parenthood or not doesn't really matter, since the money is still going to an organization that provides abortions. It's the same difference. The money is just being pushed around on paper to make it look the way they want.

From my brief research, the scholarly data in some studies suggest there is an sligh increase in risk. Having an abortion does not create an enviroment for breast cancer. However, there is sufficient data that states the link needs to be restudied to confirm that.

You want to know what else increases your risk of breast cancer and cancer in general? Eating grilled meats - especially steak and beef. Things that also increase your risk of breast cancer and general cancer: age, gender, race (caucasion women have a higher rate of breast cancer), dense breast tissue, not having kids (aborted or not), being overweight/obese, high use of acohol, lack of exercise, too much/too little sunlight exposure, some viruses/bacteria, your family history, smoking, etc (really I could go on as having worked for a cancer foundation, but I'll stop here).

Personally, I never said you hated women, but merely that you have been misinformed.

The comment I said was in reference to an earlier comment by someone else about me not caring about women.
