I'm a fellow Hanson fan that's playing at Bamboozle on May 2nd... I'll be at all of the 5 of 5 shows (except Friday night, BOO HOO) and will be watching them myself at Bamboozle on May 1st. For any fellow fans that will be at the festival May 2nd as well... I'll be playing on one of the smaller stages (all details are still TBD). If you guys are around and want to swing by and support a fellow fan, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME :) I can't wait for Monday... it seems I'm more excited for the 5 of 5 then to actually be playing at Bamboozle... Hey guys :) Thanks so much for the well-wishes! I'm soooo excited to be able to be apart of Bamboozle, you have no idea (or, actually... you guys are probably the ONLY ones to know EXACTLY how excited I am... ha!) Anyway, I just found out that I'm playing May 2nd (time slot still to be announced) so if any of you guys are around to come watch- that'd be awesome!!! I can't wait for 5 of 5 and to see the guys play at Bamboozle!!! YAY!!!! I'm hoping to get word to them to tell them I'm playing but who knows... :)

Hey guys, I just wanted to share the exciting news with all of you who have seen me (and all of my postings on here) about The Break Contest for Bamboozle. As you may, or may not, know... My name's Canyon. I entered The Break Contest to compete against hundreds of other bands in the tri-state area for a chance to play at Bamboozle... As I've said in previous posts, the whole reason why I even ENTERED the competition was because I knew Hanson was playing there and I've always dreamed that I'd get an opportunity to play in front of them and convince them (even though I know it's all just a crazy, un-realistic dream) to sign me to 3CG (Yes, I know, it hasn't been done and probably won't be in the near future... I know:) Anyway... I just wanted to tell you guys.... I WONNNNNNNNNNNN! I just found out that I get to play at Bamboozle, not sure when/where exactly yet... just that I get to PLAY THERE!!!! It'll probably be on one of the smaller stages... who knows... just the fact that I made it... is CRAZY. I'm hoping that I'll get the opportunity to play in front of them... even though... I know it's SUCH A LONG SHOT... it seems like all of the best dreams are :) I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you guys who have sent words of encouragement and support... Hey guys :) Thanks for all the feedback- I really appreciate you all taking the time to check out my music! As for the whole 3CG thing... trust me, I'm fully aware of the fact that they haven't signed any other artists and probably aren't looking to in the near future... (thus, the dream part) While, yes, I could look to try and get signed by other small indie labels... I'm shooting for the moon FIRST :) Why not, right? I just would love to some day be involved with them and their brilliant musicianship... They, to me, represent everything that being a musician SHOULD BE. Their well-rounded talent and boundless energy for an industry that's filled with jaded, copy-cat number crunchers is beyond refreshing and inspiring. They, to me, are the future of what the music industry is re-inventing itself as... they are authentic. I don't really have much on youtube, a couple random clips.. nothing to brag about :) I'm planning on posting some new songs soon on my website soon though :)
THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND WELL WISHES... If any of you guys live on the east coast- please come to my show on April 10th! If I make it through this next round... I GO TO BAMBOOZLE!!!!!!

Yeah, I know that they've never signed anyone to 3cg because, yes, it was created to help them after their split with Def Jam. I have read in past interviews though that someday they would consider signing other artists to 3cg... I know it hasn't been done yet but I want to be one of the first! How could I NOT want to work with the very people that helped inspire me to do this?!
I know it's long shot- but all the best dreams are... :) -c.

Hey guys... I'm posting this several places around here trying to catch fellow east coast fans attention and beg for support!!!!! I'm not trying to be annoying, just trying to make this dream of mine come true... I wanted to introduce myself, I'm Canyon. I've been a fan since '98... I've let my membership lapse over the last few years because I've been too broke to rationalize spending $40 bucks on hanson instead of food... CRAZY, right?! :) Anyway, I recently moved from CA to Connecticut for my job and barely know anyone out here... I've entered into The Break Contest to fight for a chance to play at Bamboozle and hopefullyconvince HANSON that they should let me be the first artist represented by 3CG. That's my goal. I was a finalist several years ago in a contest that Hanson did for the chance to open up for them at the Nokia Theater in NYC. Needless to say, I was crushed when I didn't win... especially since I knew that the five guys that did WEREN'T HANSON FANS... I'm not saying that I should've won on that alone, but I'm fighting for it still and will continue to do so... I'm a folk/singer-songwriter... Just ONE GIRL fighting against TONS of BOY BANDS... it's gonna be tough. Anyway, I was hoping to rally some support from you guys to help this dream of mine come true. PLEASE, if you live in the TRI-STATE area and are up for an adventure... PLEASE COME SEE ME PLAY AND HELP ME WIN! The more people that show up for me, the more votes I get...
