omg, my neighbor is the same way!!! they do not parent their child - he does whatever he wants, and the parents don't want to say no b/c they don't want to "crush his creativity" or some b.s. like that.

well one time, i was playing drums in my own basement, and i look up to see the boy and his father peeking in my basement windows. next thing i know, they knocked on the door and asked to see my drumset. i said sure, and took him down to the basement. we have an old organ down there, and instead of banging on my drums (which i wouldn't have minded, that kid couldn't have pounded harder than me!), he starts pounding on the organ! i didn't know what to do. so i just tried to distract him with something else, and i never told the dad that that wasn't ok.

i couldn't imagine living in an apartment complex with a kid like that.

anyway, my story aside, i think that since you are in an apartment, you have a right to silence and privacy. if i were you, i would ask the kid to stop making so much racket. and if he doesn't, or if it continues for successive days in a row, i would call the police. that noise disrupts the peace, and maybe a visit from the police will teach the boy to be more respectful towards others. as for him playing with your stuff, is there a way to lock your equipment so that he has no way of turning it on or playing with it? in my old apt complex, we had little storage spaces that had a padlock on the door (or a space to put a padlock), so that there was no way other people could even touch your stuff. if not, that might be something you can bring up with the police when they come around for the noise violation lol. or you can always purchase a storage space in one of those storage warehouses.

I can't wait for New Moon! I'm going to the midnight showing too. At our theater they don't do anything special, but I love seeing movies late like that, especially when I have been waiting forever for them, haha.

I saw Twilight twice in theaters. once at midnight and then another time during the day.

Can't wait to see the movie... The pre sale for the movie is starting here next sunday, hope I can get tickets for the premiere...
