How long does it usually take for them to get something back into stock once it's gone out? I want the 5 of 5 coffee mug set, but they're out of black. And I want the black burnout I (heart) Hanson, but they're out of mediums and larges. Aaaahhh!! How long do I have to wait? I want to order everything all at once! How long does it take? *~_~*SuperGreenAngelEyes*~_~*

QUOTE: echoIn a couple of months I'm moving and will be looking for an internet provider. I see the HughesNet commercials all the time and just wondered if it was good as cable or DSL. Since it is satellite, does the internet not work on cloudy days?
I've had HughesNet before.. It's not as good as DSL and YES the weather affects your service!!! *~_~*SuperGreenAngelEyes*~_~*

QUOTE: zoso86They're AMAZING. I'm having a Hanson 5 of 5 marathon all week! Middle of Nowhere & This Time Around down; Underneath, The Walk, Shout It Out to go! And how about those posters? Suuuuper cool!!! I'm only opening them up as I watch them so as to experience each DVD as its own little experience. I'm thinking about framing them to hang up on my wall. Oh, and I'm really enjoying the half hour or so that the guys take at the end of each DVD to discuss the whole creative process, etc. that went on during each of the albums. LOVE THIS BAND. SO MUCH. Who's with me? Lol I did the same thing! I opened them one at a time and watched it all the way through before even touching the next one. I LOVE the posters!!! I am with you ALL THE WAY 100%.. FOREVER! *~_~*SuperGreenAngelEyes*~_~*

Haha! Sometimes that's best. To just walk away from it all.
I thought the same thing when I saw the subject. But now I'm involved! ;) Really, I thought it would be all one sided because this is a music fan site. I'm just as glad to see differing views as I am about the election results! Go meat! *~_~*SuperGreenAngelEyes*~_~*

Sorry. I forgot 2 words. Jefferson coined the phrase, "Wall of Separation of Church and State". *~_~*SuperGreenAngelEyes*~_~*

Protect religions? It was put in place to protect the people. It was put in place so that the people could not be controlled by a particular religion. It has/had NOTHING to do with policy. Obviously if someone tried to inject policy in favor of a particular religion, it would have been in direct violation of the constitution. But that IN NO WAY means that a politician/government can't create policies that directly stem from a religious view/doctrine. Separation of Church and State was FAMOUSLY converted into a tool for the left in the mid 1900s. The First Amendment clearly states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an ESTABLISHMENT of religion, or prohibiting the exercise thereof... By the way: Thomas Jefferson did not write that quote. Madison wrote it after his presidency. He was writing about TOTAL separation of the Church from the State. Thomas Jefferson's famous quote was in a response letter to a minority religious group, where he coined the phrase used against the amendment today "Separation of Church and State". This letter was written to ease their minds about a different dominant religious group. *~_~*SuperGreenAngelEyes*~_~*

QUOTE: ugaswkerQUOTE: SGAEyesaka United Kingdom.. England and the UK are not the same thing. Historically, England refers to JUST Great Britain. And again Scotland's religion DID/DOES NOT equal Great Britain just as it is not the same for Ireland. In fact, all three (four if you take into consideration North/South - even though not established at that point) are completely different. England is part of and the majority of 1 island. If generalizing is a crime, send me to a firing squad. Besides, I posted the United Kingdom. Christianity has MANY denominations. It has many differing doctrines, names, traditions, etc. Their differences don't change their likeness. Protestant is Christian, just like Catholicism. And it was FORCED on the people. That's the point, not what religion was forced, but that it was FORCED. *~_~*SuperGreenAngelEyes*~_~*

QUOTE: ugaswkerQUOTE: SGAEyesQUOTE: hardygirlThe new governor of Florida is talking about how we are all children of God and we have to believe in Him. *Facepalm* Mr. Governor, are you not aware that there is a separation of church and state, and we are not a theocracy?
I am worried about all the red blanketing the election maps. Anyone else? Separation of Church and State is a tool used by the left. The Constitution states that our government cannot establish and institutionalize a religion. It was exactly what they were fleeing from in England. THAT'S why it's in the Constitution. It has nothing to do with your version of Separation of Church and State. (A) It's not just a tool. It was impacted for a reason.
(B) Not all the founding fathers came from "England". There were numerous from Scotland, Ireland, and Great Britain - all of which had different Church systems.
(C) True they did not want one intstitutionalized church. However, their purposeful omission of God from the constitution is to keep the policies of the country seperate from the religious affilitation. Thomas Jefferson clarifyied this in a letter in 1802 by stating: "Strongly guarded. . . is the separation between religion and government in the Constitution of the United States." This did not create controversy from the founding fathers. Scotland, Great Britain, etc.. ARE England. The purpose is to keep our government from forcing a certain religion on us, like in ENGLAND. The purpose was NEVER to take God out of policy or personal life. The purpose was to protect the people from a government that, if allowed, could CONTROL the people in yet another way. *~_~*SuperGreenAngelEyes*~_~*
