Another thing...there are so many people commenting on YouTube about Refreshing in so many different countries, yet the views are reflecting that.  I know YT only updates the views every 4 hours or so, but when it does update, it only goes up by about a thousand.  There's no possible way that out of all the people refreshing, we've only managed to view the video a thousand times.  Last night the count was increasing at a rapid rate, but today we've been barely crawling.

What does everyone else's count say on YouTube?  Mine says 830,778.

Yeah I can't see them not doing it, especially since we have been refreshing like crazy. And as others have said, it's not our fault that YT has the most screwy view counting system. And only updates every 4 hours or so. I think we can make it 1 million before Christmas definitely. 

As for the current view count, mine says 832,690.

I've been refreshing all day. And passing the link around to my friends on Facebook and on my blog, and urging them to pass it along to their other friends and so on. Hoping that people will watch it, even just once. I KNOW we can get a million people to watch it before tomorrow if they are curious enough. I even said they don't have to sit there and watch it or listen to it if they don't want too. Just let it play. I really hope it helps! I want that Christmas special!

I got a message from one of my best friends this morning on Facebook. She told me she's getting out of work early tonight (she works at Disney in Florida) due to the restaurant she works out being bought out for some kind of event. 

SO, what's she going to do? 

She's going to go to one of Hanson's shows at the Food & Wine Festival in Epcot tonight! For ME!

She said she'd try to get close enough to take pics and maybe call so I can hear the music, but wasn't promising anything. I'm just so HAPPY she's going to TRY. That she's GOING. She's not really a fan but the fact that she's doing it at all means the world to me right now. I of course hope she has a great time and hopefully gets exposed to some awesome music. 

If she does get any pics I'll try to post em here and stuff. It just means a lot to me, after this last month when things have been hell for me. Any bright spot right now is appreciated.

You know what's weird? It's just THAT video ... I clicked on the Weird Al cut and a few others and they play fine. But the Thinking 'Bout Somethin' video is total black screen ... and yet it seems to still be counting views ... it goes up a little bit every time I check ... I dunno what is going on with it. 

*Goes back to refreshing on Youtube*

I've been noticing that too.  Hmm...

Oh good so it's not just me then. I was beginning to think it was me. Even though I've been letting to play all the way through and then refreshing it's still at 1,938,492. Wonder if we broke it.

Has anyone else noticed that if you search the video on Youtube it says the views are 678,194 .... but when you go to the page with the video on it to play it the counter on the page says 680,162.

I tried to see if the same thing happens with other videos and it does.  I let the other video play the whole way then refreshed and it had the same number of views.  I wonder if they update those on maybe a daily basis since we aren't seeing anything now and it's been over an hour at least for me? I've been doing the manual refresh on Youtube and the numbers haven't moved for me either. I wonder if it takes longer for the numbers to go up on Youtube.
