Hi everyone!

My name is Kate, I'm 20 years old (almost 21!) and I live in Australia.

On 17 March 2012 I will be shaving all my hair off in order to raise money for the Luekaemia Foundation by taking part in an annual Australian event held by the foundation called the World's Greatest Shave. It works by people sponsoring me to shave my head. I'm aiming to raise $500 but hopefully more!

Your donations through sponsoring me will go towards research, which is needed to find better treatments and cures for leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.

Your donations and sponsorship will also support families when they need it most, providing leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma patients with a free home-away-from-home near hospital during their treatment. It will also mean we can transport them to appointments and provide as much practical assistance and emotional support as we can, all free of charge.

Hey there! I took over a visa travelex card. I had one set up with pounds and another set up for euros. I actually had a bit of trouble with the cards but nothing drastic. It is really the easiest and most secure way though, I believe. I also met a lot of people who took their Australian visa/mastercard cards over.

Hey there! I'm form Australia and I spent almost a year in England/Europe a couple of years ago. Trying looking in o BUNAC. Their head office is in London so you can get work sorted in the short amount of time you wish to spend there. They basically help you step by step with finding and getting a job (including setting up bank accounts etc). They have absolutely every current job ad on file and on their notiice boards and you'll also end up meeting some nice people in the same boat as you who can help you out.

London can be extremely expenisve yet it can also be horribly cheap. You just have to make a budget concerning accommodation and food and as AmyBlyth said a lot of the tourist attractions are free and and generally quite cheap otherwise. I recommend that you get an Oyster card for public transport, even if you are only there for a couple of weeks and odd days every now and then, you really save a lot of money.

I'm sure the British people would love to help you figure out some nice places to go. Let me know if you need any advice on getting there are good accommodation etc.

I am in the middle of second year university exams and my brain has turned to mush!!

Night/morning before is always a time to freak out but as long as you have done sufficient revision then as soon as you get in there and see the questions, it will all start flooding back. I'm sure you will do great :-) :-)

Did anyone mention the 'Hanson at my wedding' guys to them at the MOE?

I live in Australia and dated someone in the Netherlands for 18 months (about 14000km distance). We could only spend 6 months of those together.. with a huge gap in between.

i agree the book wasnt the best but i still love hp and im sooo looking foward to the movie, although it will be sad becuase now it is really the end of hp! :(:( the second film will be epic from start to finsih considering where they left the fist one.
