Probably freak out, I hope i'd get the guts to talk / take photos with them, but working off my last meeting with them (my m&g) i'd probably just sit and stare :P

It was my first show in Manchester the night before, and i know exactly how you feel!! I was blown away, I cried when they came out on stage lol (it was an emotional day :P) haha. But they were just amazing, so much better live then on records. I couldn't believe i was actually there and they were standing infront of me singing!!! :)

Hey guys, so i'm based in London, but i'm attending the whole SIO tour...every concert. So i'm thinking of hiring a car to travel to the concerts, just wondering if anyone would be interested in tagging along, doesn't have to be the whole way, maybe just a couple stops along the way? Just thinking it would save hostel booking and such, could just sleep in the car while we maybe take turns in driving!

Let me know if anyone wants to ride along, it'll just be a standard 5 person car. I'll need to know soon, i'm flying over from Australia, so I'm trying to organize everything :D

Do you think if i make it to Manchester, i can ride with you to Edinburgh, I have to be back in London on the 26th though, so i'll just catch a bus / train back after the Edinburgh show :)
silly me booked a day tour out to stonehenge and bath etc etc, so I don't want to miss that, but even meeting and travelling with some fans to one show would be a great experience :)

I may be yet, i've got to figure out which shows to go to, I've booked a few day tours on the 26th and 23rd, so i have to go back anf forth to make them! Maybe I can let you know if it's ok if i tag along somewhere on the journey? :)

oh yeh wow, the megabus tickets are 1/4 of a price of the train, thanks! Only problem they don't get there until 4pm...gotta weigh up paying less and not getting a good spot in the concert or paying 4 times more to possibly get a better spot! lol

Ok guys, So i've already bought tickets to see Hanson in London, but i'm trying to organize to travel up To Newcatle to see them there, then to Birmingham to see them again, then back to London, so I can catch them 3 times, I'm from Australia and a bit clueless when it comes to the UK transport system, can anyone give me any tips??

Or better yet anyone travelling from London up to those two shows would would like someone to travel with :)

Thanks for all that :) I was a bit worried about setting up a bank account over there, since i'm not too sure how long it'l take me to find a perminant place to live, so i'll definately be looking into that. I'm looking into taking a visa travlex card (you get them from post offices) only problem, if i start working you cant have money just deposited into them. So i was a bit worried abot that! If you don'd mind me asking, how did you go with accessing money for the first few months, any cards or anything you can reccommend i take over?

Well i just booked my hostel, and it's only about 10 minutes from the O2 arena, so i'm pretty set for an early start :D I'll be RUGGED up!!! haha. Gonna go suss out the arena a few days before hand and see what i'll end up doing. Looking forward to seeing everyone there! :D

I'm not sure yet. I have a 2 year working visa, but it all depends on if i find work. It's sort of a spontaneous trip!! Just packing my backpack and going really... :/ haa

Yeh i've heard there is a fair few free things, which is good. and i'm not too sure if i'll actually stay in London to work... If i find work outside London i'll be moving closer to that, i'm just not sure where to start looking. I was in childcare over here in Australia, and i've heard it's pretty good to get into nannying over there, or even live in pub work! Guess the easiest thing is just to have a good look when i'm over there! 'Cause i want to earn money so i can go back and forth from Europe as well :)

Hey everyone :)

So i'm going to be setting off from Australia on the 20th November (just in time for hansons november 29th concert in Greenwich :D) ...
and i was wondering if anyone who lives in/around London or the UK in general could point me in a few good directions, or even give me some advice on what to do / what not to do... I've been reading and i've read that the average spending of a backpacker in London can be about 50 pounds... Ive heard London is a very expensive city, so i was hoping to not get stuck in it for too long, but to rather travel down the countryside, but i'm also hoping to get jobs while i was travelling, and wondering how much cars are there to buy?

Any advice from anyone that's travelled or lived in the UK would be great :D
