| Best Moment | The whole Walk Tour '08 experience I just had in Wisconsin! 4 shows in 5 days plus a M&G and winning the first "scan your card" raffle? Wow! Another best moment (not Hanson related): Winning the "Outstanding Graduate" award at Milwaukee Area Technical College... I was in the Opticianry Science program (1 year technical diploma) and I really enjoyed the program and did really well... So I was eligible for this award. I applied and had to write this essay and do this interview (and I had a nasty cold at this interview) and stuff. I NEVER thought I had even a remote chance! Along with winning this award, I had the responsibility of starting off the graduation ceremony (introducing the different groups as they entered) and I was part of the stage party... I was on stage in front of thousands of people, and it was scary but exhilarating speaking in front of such a large audience! |
| Bio | Hmm... Well let's see... I'm 23. I live with my best friend from high school. The two of us have vowed that we're gonna outlive our husbands and be those two old ladies that live together in a house full of cats, and we will constantly bicker with each other (not like we don't kinda bicker already)! Strange, I know... I work at an optical in a mall... Not much fun, but that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? I'm trying to make it through my undergrad and into Optometry school... That's gonna be quite the feat, but seeing all that Hanson has overcome gives me at least a little faith in myself. Hopefully someday I can travel to another country to provide vision care services to those who can't otherwise afford it (thanks to Hanson again for the inspiration!). |
