Does artist get to choose who opens for them? I loooove John Mayer to death. I would love see him alone in concert. He has the worst opening acts that comes to the Tampa State. All the good opening acts that he plays with open for different states.

I think independent artists like Hanson do pretty much have a say, but for the others I think it's the choice of the promoter
