Epcot shows=frustration..

Perhaps I wasn't clear. I will be at the end of my pregnancy by the time of the Epcot shows. So going out of state would be a pretty bad idea. And frankly, I'm right sick of Disney. I've lived in Fl. since I was two. Been there, done that a million times and I'm disgusted at the prices. For those of you who are just tickled at the idea of spending a fortune to have a Hanson infused Disney vacation, have fun. However, not EVERYONE can afford that kind of crap nor do they give a hoot about the stupid food & wine fest. Including me.

And, it was mentioned that I (or anyone in my situation) could just bring along a babysitter or hire one while we're there. Seriously?? Why on earth would I want to bring along some snotty teenager on the last vacation with my family before the new baby.. Or better yet, why would I leave my 6yr old and 3yr old with complete strangers to go to a fest I'm not interested in and stand in line, extremely preggo, three times just to catch their three 45 min sets? I simply won't be going to the Epcot shows. But I'm allowed to think that its super sucky that they couldn't just schedule an Orlando HOB show somewhere in the tour. After all, they DID promise to come back for one at their last Orlando HOB show... Whatever.

wow, chill a little. if you can't go this year cus of money or children maybe next year but don't get mad at people that where giving you ideas just incase you thought one of those where possible for you to do.

They don't need to do an orlando hob show they are playing in orlando that week, and also two other shows in FL ( yes it's a long state but  for real they are playing a real show in St. Petersburg) so if you can't or won't drive the 2 hours to that show but complain that they are playing close to you but you can't go. and i'm betting hanson will go back to the orlando hob just not right now. but for real if the price is holding you back go to one of the shows that aren't at disney, if it's being pregnant, go see them next year if it's getting someone to watch the children but your not willing to let anyone watch them do it next year.

BTW i've lived in cali all my life by disneyland ( had a pass since i was 14 so for the past 11 years of my life i could go when ever i feel like it) i'm so never over disney

I love Epcot and was going for my birthday and the food/wine festival anyways. Hanson is just an added bonus. I love Epcot purely for the different shows in each country and the food is AWESOME. If it wasn't my birthday and I had not planned it all ready, I doubt I would go just for Hanson. I was suppose to go last year for my birthday but I had not recovered from surgery as fast as I had hoped.

Its not like you have to go to every Hanson show. There are two regular shows in FL.

oh come on! you can't be serious!

Other continents like Europe, Australia, Asia don't even have Hanson doing a tour and you complain about the prices? Yes ok it's more expensive than HOB, but it's a great opportunity for some to go to Disney, watch Hanson, go to  the wine festival and for other people non-Hanson fans to get familiar with their new sound and CD.

And they also have two other FL dates..maybe you can go there? Or if you can't go this year...There's always next year. No need for all this drama.

Cool  Hanson fan since 1997! woah!

I swear, sometimes people's rude comments just make me wanna curse. I was simply trying to be more clear about my situation. I will be IN Orlando that week and having a Hanson concert while on vacation would have been awesome. Not to mention my girls really wanted to see Hanson (it would be their first concert experience) and Disney (as much as that place annoys me) would have been a more exceptable venue...BUT it's TOO expensive for us right now. I'm ALLOWED to be frustrated by that. I AM going to the St. Pete show, I just would have liked to be able to go to more than one show and DEF. would have preferred a HOB show while I happened to be in Orlando already. While I'm certain those of you who made suggestions on what to do meant well, the suggestions really weren't realistic (like traveling out of state at the end of pregnancy) so I JUST clarified. I started this thread looking for other people who would have prefered a HOB show AND/OR are feeling frustrated about not being able to go to the Epcot shows due to finances or other reasons, to share in my disappointment (in a "damn this sucks" " Yea, I agree" kinda way). Not so you could take shots at the "hormonal" pregnant woman. Some of you seriously need to grow up.

As I said before...whatever. It sucks, but I'm not gonna cry my eyes out over it. Just thought I'd share my thoughts and frustrations with anyone who agreed. For those of you who CAN go, enjoy yourself. Epcot is really not my thing and the last thing I want is a wine fest when I can't even drink any. The "shows" aren't gonna be much anyways and really not worth my money IMO. I will however be enjoying a great show in St. Pete. My kids will be disappointed but they'll live. IF Hanson does decide to have a HOB show later on, I MIGHT be able to take the kids then but the new baby may not make that possible. Oh well.

I was the one who suggested to travel out of state and I guess I wasn't clear but I was saying it generally when I was accused of saying "only rich fans can go to shows"  I didn't mean you in particular.

And I'm pretty sure Hanson "promises" to go back to everywhere they go on tour but it doesn't mean they'll hit them those places up every tour. Sometimes it takes them years to go back to places
