Does anyone else really miss this? Or is it just me? At the concert in Indy, I noticed when he isn't using his left hand to play, he moves it all around... HE MISSES THE BONGOS TOO! They need to find a way to fit the bongos back into a few of their songs. Seriously, who WOULDN'T be happy if they did? I definitely do too! It would be great if they brought the bongos back every once in a while. A bit nostalgic but in a good way :) Fanson since '97. thats funny I forgot about the congas . its been at least 10 years since Ive seen Taylor play them tho - I do miss it too - thats how you knew Mmmbop was the next song at the show -- they'd change his set from Keyboards to the congas/bongo drums . In Tulsa this year tho -- they used two drum sets towards the end -- that was cool . past shows:7/2/98 , 7/17/04 , 6/10/05 , 10/30 /05 , 7/20/07 Hnet m&g 9/15 /07 , 5/3 /08 , 10/15 /08 , stand up Ep Tulsa first Taylor solo . Dc Moe 10 /19 /09. '10:bamboozie 5/21 ,SIO- 7/30 ; 11 /13 2nd Tay solo NLG , 11/19; '11 : gaylord Nat'l show - 6/18 -first Taylor solo picture ever 10/23 Norfolk VA . '12 : Tay 19? Hopefully MOE 2012 ?

as a percussionist, i have to intervene...they're not actually bongos that taylor is playing, they're congas. there's a difference. congas are BIG, and bongos are tiny. i've only ever seen taylor play congas, not bongos. :) but yes i do miss the conga playing! ------------------------------------------------------------------- "It is books that are the key to the wide world; if you can't do anything else, read all that you can!"
