I always figured were all a teeny bit bi. If not we wouldn't have same sex friendships right? :)

i dunno.

i mean, not everyone is SEXUALLY attracted to their same sex friends, though.

i guess most of us are "bi" in that sense (bi-friendual hahaha)...but not the "bi" that's being spoken about here.

hahahaha.

I know. Just trying to be cute :) tee hee

I'm a lesbian Hanson fan, also.

Very cool to find this thread. Hello all! And a special thanks to those "straight" folks who are accepting and not interjecting hate into this thread.

Something like that has crossed my mind before. I've wondered if it's really possible for someone to be 100% straight. I mean, I'm straight. I've never had a crush on a woman or had the desire to 'experiment' being with another woman (I had a straight friend who did this once), but I'm also not afraid to admit when I think a woman is attractive.

There was actually a study done that concluded a third of women who did not adhere to gender norms became homosexual and bisexual females and the rate of men was slightly higher.

There was also a study that showed that the more sons a woman had, the higher the chance they would be homosexual.  Maybe they run outta the secret ingredient that makes men so MANLY.

Yeah, kidding.  Don't take offense to that.

LOL not enough man juice to go around. No offense taken lol However, I was being completely seriousl. ;)

A unionized public employee, a member of the Tea Party, and a CEO are sitting at a table. In the middle of the table there is a plate with a dozen cookies on it. The CEO reaches across and takes 11 cookies, looks at the tea partier and says,"look out for that union guy, he wants a piece of your cookie."

what do you guys think about the kinsey scale? it's basically saying what has been spoken about here.  not everyone's sexuality can be completely defined by just hetero, homo or even bi...there are different levels of sexual attraction for a lot of people.

but i think even this scale isnt completely definitive.  im sure there are people out there who are 3.5s and 1.6s.  it's interesting to see the different levels of people's "leanings" when it comes to sexuality.

http://www.kinseyinstitute.org/research/ak-hhscale.html#what

so, here's the scale:

0- Exclusively heterosexual with no homosexual

1- Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual

2- Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual

3- Equally heterosexual and homosexual

4- Predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual

5- Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual

6- Exclusively homosexual

next up:

february 16th in sayreville, nj

Yah know I was just thinking about that with this thread. You read my mind lol. I personally believe in it.

LOVE this thread.  I'm a not straight Hanson fan.  I prefer the term queer, I suppose.  I've never known what I am, but I've had lasting, loving relationships with men, women, and transgendered people.  Bi has such a horrible reputation attached to it...even I am wary of it.  I know that makes me a jerk.  I'm also christian.  That probably just makes me strange, lol.

You go girl! Being Christian and queer doesn't make you strange, it makes you beautiful! God loves all equally, why else would He create such amazing people who "love differently"? (Personally, I'm not a huge fan of that phrase, because I believe love is love regardless of gender, but I couldn't figure out how else to word it) I'm a straight ally myself, and equality is a huge passion of mine =)
