Do you think if someone made a website with all the radio stations listed that people would spam radio stations and hurt the chances of you guys being able to add new songs to their play list? or Do you think it would help sell out tickets to your shows on this tour?

Do you even want us to be requesting on the radio? Just asking.

I just requested Penny & Me on 31 radio stations.  

 think the best thing is for every Hanson fan to come up with a list of say 10 either national or reginal stations where they live eg 10 national radio stations if you live in england or say 10 reginal stations if you live in america as i don't know what the system is over there (i live in england by the way)

We  could agree a list on hanson.net and each fan from that country or state, county etc should just bombard them everyday with requests for the same song, best song at them moment would be the new single until they conceed defeat and play it but we need it played more than once.

On radio 1 in england if a songs no1 they have to play it so downloading a specific song from iunes may be an idea

From experience if you nag enough someone will give in just for a bit of peace.

They don't want stations bombarded.  To me I think it's just odd.  You want fans to request your song on the radio. But you don't want a mess of fans to request on the radio. But you want your song to get enough spins in airplay.  It's very confusing.

It's like everyone else's fans can request them on the radio. We request Hanson on the radio it's like "Well only the fans are requesting them" or  "It's odd how all the suddened Hanson's getting alot of request".

Why can't we request on the radio like everyone else? Why does it have to be such a hassle just to get a Hanson song played. It's insane.  

I think everyone needs to stick to requesting songs at their local radio stations.  I may be completely wrong here but I seem to remember there being a huge problem back when underneath was released with fans requesting at stations not in their area.  It made DJ's angry and once again I maybe wrong but I thought it actually caused a couple of stations to drop the single.

That's right. We should all only request on the stations we get. The problem... We aren't told what stations have the song.  How can we request a song on a stations have what songs?   Most people want to request a recent song. If we don't know what recent song a station has how are we suppose to get people talking about Hanson. I know MMMbop. I don't know about everyone else... The point is to get people to know they sing more then just MMMBop.

I think we had a drop list. Like this : www.simpleplan.com/request/  Like at the top of this website where it says forums Tour / Events.   It would say Request. then it would have a drop list like Simple plan you just pick your country then your location and you contact those stations. But I would hope that each station would have a list of Hanson songs they have and the email address for request.

Most of us are in our 20's we should know how to request. It takes more then one person making a request.

IE: A Station dropped Penny & Me off their library because I was the only requesting the song.

I am sure most people didn't even know they had the song.

The Walk they didn't even release a single. But GO was played in the Walmart. and Vh1 and MTV and Much Music Had the videos. but we were never told to request them.

I know that alot of stuff now is done through Twitter / Myspace / and Facebook. But the old way works too. We just gotta do our part.  The only way we can do our part is to have the information.

I wish there was a way they could do a survey on here.
How many people would request if you knew where in your country / location to request.

I have proved that stations will play their songs. You can go to www.yes.com and type in Hanson and it will show you list of stations that have played them, that use Yes.com with their playlist. I have even contacted at least two radio stations and got them to add Hanson. WSTV has been playing Penny & Me alot. and WMVN added MMMBop into their library.

To my knowledge Penny and Me was the last single that was released to radio.  So it would be the one to request.  However thats been what? 6 years ago, not a lot of stations are going to have it anymore.  You can always call and ask if they have it, most DJs have a pretty good idea and can tell you off the top of their heads if a song is on their play list.  We also don't even know if they are going to be releasing TBS to radio yet, I pmed Zac but never heard anything back.  If they don't release it to radio all we can really do promote the album in general.  Hopefully as we get closer to the release date they will give us more info on the single and so on.

That would help. But,most don't play Hanson anymore. I doubt a Hanson will answer this post. I have requested them and no one plays them. One iI think did. I never heard it thogh I turned the station. I thanked them though. Only one that did. I don't even think I can hear that station in the car. Only online.

I doubt they will answer either.  I think if you want a list of stations in your area that have Hanson songs you are going to have to call around yourself!  Back when I was a St. Team leader I called all of the major stations in the state and asked then made a list for my team.  I really think thats the only option on finding out who has what songs.
