Shout it Out in Brazil!!!! This time I won't faint, wont write a five page letter to them (supposedly delivered by the ER doctor (poor guy)) and I'm not asking Zac do go up or down so we can see his face either! The show here in Rio de Janeiro in 2000 was f* awsome, everything happened to me... First of all. Me and my poor mama got at the Via Parque shopping mall about... 7 am. (The show would begin around 8 pm). There was already some people in line, but I was pretty much in the first 50 there. So, I had great expectations. About the time to lunch, my best friend and also a huge fanson was already there. Our moms asked what we wanted to eat. Obviously, we were to nervous to eat. I remember all I could digest without vomiting were three McNuggets. So, about ten hours later and having nothing in my stomach... The gates opened up and everybody started to run like Satan was chasing them! Teenage girls can be really crazy... Everyone was slapping and kicking and bitting and screaming... It was hell. My and my pal got real good places, around the second row. Then, a very tall, very mean girl hit me in my nose with his elbow. Yeah. So... without food, being smashed by God knows how many crazy girls... I fainted. I fainted and got carried away to the ER by the security guys... When I got there, I was crying my eyes off cause I wouldnt be able to see Isaac, Taylor and Zac really close and I would DIE... The poor doctor must have felt really bad for me, cause he said, "Listen, if you want to, you can write a note for them and I'll try to get it delivered". He shouldnt have said that to a crazy 13 year-old... I got his medical notebook and wrote this huge, five page letter about how much I loved them, and how my life would be empty without them etc etc etc. Then I was released (after I made the doctor PROMISSE me he would deliver the letter) and saw the show from a great distance :( (a lot of crazy teenagers killing themselves closer to the stage, the adult in charge of me and my friend wouldnt allow me to try to get up close again) Then, at some point of the show, they start to play "A song to sing", the song i most loved and cried every time I listened to, of course... And, in the middle of nowhere (nudge, nudge, know what I mean? ;))... I am on the f* gigantuous screen on the music hall! The video guys were filming my puffy face, all covered in tears... And it was on air! From this day on, I had the firm belief they would see the video and fall in love with that crazy, sweaty, screamy girl on the video! I was just a lonely teenager. LOL If you see that video here | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=capRNoLI22w |, that's me. Oh, yeah. At 0'37''. Yes, I was fixing my hair. (And again at 1'04''. The previous idea (they would see the video and love me etc etc) was already crossing my mind.) After all, my friend (who was able to stay in the front till the very end, lucky basterd) got some really cool photos. And I got this really embarassing and yet so so so beloved tale to share. Really, good times. :D Good, good times! See you all and rock on! |

LoL!!! You were all emotional, haha ;) Glad you had fun though. And, don't worry about what you did when you were 13...that was years ago!! ;)
-Ashley SHOWS: WI 2000. IL 2004. MN 2010. MOE '10. I have promoted Hanson on the radio (been in studio) & on news stations too. It was amazing. Never had a M&G. Never been Reporter.

Hey Ashley! So glad you like it - I've never shared that experience with any other fans. It was really really fun, when I look back now! Such an emotional experience :) And if you dont do that kind of things when you are 13, when could you, right? At least that's the way I look at it :) |
