i have been shortlisted for APRA's Professional Development Awards! This is so awesome.

I had forgotten i entered them then i got a letter in the mail saying i have been shortlisted. Here is the info below!

The APRA Professional Development Awards are presented by APRA in conjunction with music organisations and institutions involved in the representation or education of Australian music writers. The Awards offer cash, travel and recognition to music writers in the early stages of their careers.

Australian winners of the 2009 PDAs will receive $12,000 cash to advance their careers through study or travel, PLUS: a Gibson guitar courtesy of long-time APRA Awards partner Gibson Guitars, studio time at Trackdown Recording Studio and access to an online course provided by the award-winning Berklee College of Music. Each prize package in 2009 PDAs will total more than $16,000.

The APRA Professional Development Awards (PDAs) were first awarded in 2001 to mark APRA's 75th Anniversary. The awards were received so enthusiastically by the music industry that the APRA board decided to make the PDAs a permanent fixture on the APRA cultural calendar. As a result, APRA now offers eleven PDAs in Australia and New Zealand to promising emerging music writers in the early stages of their careers.

In association with the PDAs, APRA also administers the Jessica Michalik Contemporary Music Endowment established by The Big Day Out producers. The Endowment gives a $10,000 development grant to a promising Australian songwriter or band, nominated by the producers of The Big Day Out.

so i wrote a song hehe im still in the process for writing the music, i did write and record the original version but it sounds too much like another one of my songs, dammit.

oh i had girls talking too i was so angry, lol

i think you would of been disappointed with it if you hadnt read the books first. you understand more, when you have read them.

I hope jacob stays on coz i think he is brilliant for the role.

i thought they did a fantastic job, and i cant really think of anything they left out. Though it has been a while since i read the first book. i think i might read the series again haha love it.

my boyfriend just finished the series and he loved it, and loved the movie. Edward is just...uh....no words...lol Hollywood should stop making movies with such beautiful men who do such beautiful things and act a certain why, coz it never happens that way in real life haha

oh my god...amazing, i thoroughly enjoyed it, and i am going back to see it again! as soon as possiblw. I think Rob plays Edward outstandingly, and Kirsten plays Bella, amazingly also, its all how it played out in my mind.

if i had more than two thumbs they would all be up. im in love hehe

nah its not that i dont want her to be happy or think she deserves it or anything, coz she does, i couldnt give her what she is getting now. i am so so happy for her that she is in a relationship that is full of so much love. its makes me happy to see her happy, but i still get so jealous. like right now looking at photos of her and her gf, makes me kinda knot up in my tummy lol like i wish i could of had that? meh, i thought it has passed til right now lol hate it so much.

the death of children and baby's or anyone is just horrible. :( it is a strange feeling, like being half of a full person? hmm hard to explain

i find myself wanting to talk to her more, as i like having coversations with her, i feel alot closer now than i ever kind of have, apart from when we were together of course.

we had alot of trouble in the past, we fought like cat and dog, but now its so good. i am so happy she is happy, but i feel so jealous when i see pictures of her and her new gf lol its horrible. i hate it!!

who here is a twin?

i am. i dont like aying was, coz i still am, i always will be. My twin brother, Joel and i were born four months premature, and he died 14 hours after birth.

Growing up i always felt different from other kids, like i was half empty, being older i now can graso why that is. but it doesnt make it easier.

-sigh- sorry for being depressing, ive been down lately, thining of my dad, joel and sarah (sister). may they R.I.P:(

i think its normal, even if you currently have a partner, and you miss an ex. you will always care for them. its hard, emotions are weird, and sometimes  i wish they would just feck off.

ok yay good im not alone lol i dont have a solution, i suppose maybe all we can do is ride it out, coz there is no way i would break up with my boyfriend and tell my ex i miss her...in more than a 'wonder what theyre doing' way.

i even dream about her..yeah...thats horrible, i cant even escape her when i sleep! ah! i go through phases where its worse than other times, but meh its always there.

thats happened to me, and i am in a happy relationship, the best relationship ever, but i cant stop thinking about my ex, i miss her alot, and it does my head in. but i think it may be the 'you always want what you cant have' kinda thing.
