First time I heard mmmbop I was stalking z99 for The moffatts cause "rumor had it" that they were comming back as pop not country.
I heard mmmbop and just loved it, I recorded it on a tape over and over it was my walkmen (oh ya walkmen) tape for rollerblading!


then at school they showed me a pic ( u know the one the orange one with them laying on the grass, ya the mmmbop one we won't forget) and I took one look at it thought they were chicks... boy was I wrong. at this point I still have NO CLUE there the ones that sing that mmmbop song.....

 

I didn't have tv at home so I was over at a friends watching the count down and mmmbop was getting close to number one. I remember yelling out OMG they really are those chicks in the orange picture! HOLLY COW there hot when there not orange!

to this day I still plug that walkment tape in, just to kick depression!
