wow, that's SO funny! i'm actually listening to 'never think' right now, and i was just thinking about making a post asking who has heard his music! i love his songs - they're so relaxing and easy to listen to.

that's the reaction that i've heard from most people i know who have seen the movie - that it's good, but not as good as the book.

lol, ok, so after reading the first book, i just went out and bought all the rest - only they were completely sold ouot of 'eclipse' at every store in my area, so i had to order online...AND IT WON'T COME UNTIL MONDAY!!!! grrrr....i'm so impatient! it took me only like 4 days to read 'new moon', and now this weekend i'm sitting on my haunches, wondering what to do with all of my free time!

anyway, i'm SUPER glad i found a friend to come with me to see the movie -- she's seen the movie before and read the books, but at least now i won't have to deal with having to explain parts to someone. so we're going next weekend - i can't wait!

i had no idea that adam and anthony were reprising their roles for the tour! wow, that really excites me! i've already seen the stage show once and the movie many times, but i just may have to see the stage show again next tour!

i saw idina menzel as elphaba in 'wicked' in 2004, but i so wish i could see her as maureen in rent too!! i LOVE rent!

i just finished reading the book - and wow, was it excellent! now i want to go see the movie next weekend. has anyone seen it? how was it? i might be taking my friend along who has never read the book - do you think someone who has never read the book will like the movie?

i'm pretty sure that disney is going to play its own artists first - i.e. miley cyrus and the jonas brothers...then comes whatever's popular and kid friendly on the radio now, and then dead last comes songs that were released years ago. but i guess it couldn't hurt to try?

i'm not technically a twin, but i'm so close with my older sister that it feels like we're twins. we're 16 months apart, which is pretty close in age. we just know each other better than anyone else knows us!

nice idea, but if i want to take my (future) kids to a concert, i will take them to The Wiggles...that is, until they're old enough to appreciate a hanson concert experience. i would imagine a small child would think it was too loud and rowdy to even enjoy the music.

i missed it, and i'm kind of mad. i'm just now starting to get into country music, so i thought why not watch the CMA awards since i might actually know a few songs? but then i missed it completely lol!

i think crazybuddy means we already have one song from fool's banquet - the halloween song "An Evening at the big top". and the 'best of' cd she's referring to is the Best Of: Live and Electric cd.

lololol i would love to see a picture of your cat in a chicken hat!! my cat wore a leopard bandana around her collar...so i guess you could say she was a leopard for halloween. we tried to bring her out on the front porch during trick-or-treat hours, but she was terrified and ran back into the house lol!

i think you worry too much about what other people think of you, that's all.

lol my friends used to have a guinea pig named lucy when we were little! idk what happened to her though...i think she got old and died or something :S

wow, that's so cool! i LOVE godspell! i was in it in 8th grade. my voice coach in high school was judas/john the baptist in the national tour a few years ago, and he directed a version that our local theatre did like 2 years ago. he encouraged me to audition for that, but i was in college at the time...and his production ended up kicking serious butt and i kicked myself for not auditioning!

anyway, i'll stop blabbing...that's my godspell story. jesus is definitely a cool role to play, especially for someone who's willing to put their all into it. it's really a good show. congratulations!!

i love 60's music too...but more '60s R&B than rock. i love aretha franklin, arthur conley, sam & dave, etc etc etc.

popular, radio music no longer produces lasting artists.

i feel like the days of madonna, aerosmith, u2, etc are completely over. i don't feel like hardly any of the artists who are on mainstream radio today will be remembered 30 years from now...and the ones who deserve the recognition, who deserve to be raking in the cash for the quality music they produce and the dedication they have made as an artist, are underappreciated and given their 15-minutes of fame...when it should be the other way around.

i'm just so tired of not being able to turn on the radio anymore and consistently listen to songs and artists that i enjoy.

but then i come on this site, and i see people who still believe in the same music industry ideals as i do...people who believe in supporting quality music and quality artists, instead of just a few hit songs. seriously, i've discovered almost all of my favorite bands from recommendations people from this site have given. i think the music industry should be tuned into this website!

'hanson acting like they're still famous'

that REALLY makes me mad! NEVER have i seen hanson be like 'please take more pictures of us! we just aren't famous enough!' or purposely do bad things just to get a headline. if anything, they've refused the attention! isaac was making a phone call most likely because someone asked him to - i doubt he would go up to someone and be like, 'i'm isaac hanson. can i call your sister?'. and i doubt taylor would give the birdie unless it was truly called for.

the paparazzi's question of "where have you guys been?" is just proof of his ignorance, and zac answered perfectly. if you're going to harass someone, at least be knowledgeable about what you're harassing them about! i feel like hanson's been the kind of band that's been bubbling under the surface for several years...they have always been popular and very present to people who have followed them, and if the general public would 'take the pickle out of their booty', hanson could probably top the success of mmmbop.

yeah, i completely agree with you. your friend should just let your no be no and your yes be yes, and leave it at that!

seriously, though, if you're sick of partying, don't let your friend pressure you into going. invite her to go do other things with you - like go to a movie or a play or concert or just hang out or something instead. after a while she'll realize that you're just not into partying that much anymore.

i just finished my personal statement for veterinary school in july. i was always toldby my undergraduate advisors that personal statements are NOT the place to be humble! and have several people proofread it for grammar and content before you hand it in -- have at least one person read it who knows you well, and at least one person who barely knows you at all. one of my mom's piano students is a retired english teacher, so i had her read my personal statement, since she doesn't really know me very well. i also had my friend's mom read it, everyone in my family...i think i made like 5-6 rough drafts before i was satisfied with my final copy! so that's what i would suggest.

what??? a boyband day on TRL?? if i had known, i would have watched!! seriously, i know TRL is ending, but MTV could at least allow it to go out in style. if they would just have advertised more, i'd definitely rather watch that than something dumb like paris hilton's new BFF or whatever the show is called.

i love acting. i have had leads in all of our school's dramas, and 4.0-ed all my college theatre classes. but in the acting business, success relies more on pure luck than talent. so i have decided to follow the other major love of my life, veterinary medicine!
