I'm not lactose intolerant, but I am dairy sensitive. It gives me canker sores and will upset my stomach if I have too much.
I've only been off dairy for just over a year and I lost about 25lbs. That alone suggests that my body doesn't like it. I don't mind the soy milk, but I was never a milk drinker. It's the cheese I miss the most, because soy cheese is not even comparable. I can eat romano since it's made with sheep's milk.

I just saw the movie last monday. I haven't read the books but I went with a friend who had. I didn't feel like I missed out on anything by not having read the books, but I am interested to read them now.
The extra cool thing was that my friend and I had the whole theatre to ourselves!

I don't think it's practical, nor would I bring my daughter to a concert til she's much older. Sure she likes music, but she much prefers children's music over Hanson. She's only 3! She is also a super well-behaved kid and very tolerant, but I wouldn't bring her to a concert. The show I went to was 19+ anyhow, but until I had actually been there, I had no idea how LOUD it would actually be or what the environment would be like. If I had a child with me, I'd be worrying about them the whole time rather than enjoying myself. (This is the same reason I wouldn't drag my hubby along by the way. He's not a Hanson fan.)
I did choose to take both of my kids to the walk in Vancouver and I think that's a much better way to expose them to Hanson, music, and activism. My daughter still talks about it and comments when she sees other people's walk pictures ("Mom, is that from OUR walk? Or another one?"). The day will come when my kids will be ready for that, but not now.

I only listened to the first two (?) parts a week or two ago. It made me uncomfortble to listen to. So I never even made it to the music part. lol

Ok, I said I wasn't starting anything so I'm not going to fight with you. I am aware of breastpumps. I pumped with my daughter for two months when I struggled with breatsfeeding her. I am also aware that not everyone can breastfeed, but most people give up without trying everything they can. The majority of people CAN breastfeed (even if it takes a little work at first) but choose not to because of various reasons. As for schedules, breastfeeding saves way more time than bottlefeeding does. Again, I am certainly not here to argue or pass judgement. People can do what they want with their own kids. That was very cute. I have to agree with the others who said those ladies are impressive. My two keep me crazy busy! And I have to imagine that at least during tour time, they're doing it a lot by themselves, but I think having each other is probably helpful too.
One last thing, I noticed a bottle in the video, don't want to start anything . . . but as a breastfeeding activist I must say something. Breast is best Hanson! I was at the Vancouver show in Sept and was actually really surprised with how nice the other fans were on the walk and for the most part how calm people were at the concert. Of course there were some crazy people, but mostly people were great.

I was actually thinking about this the other day. Back in the day when I went to concerts, I always made my posters to bring along, but when I saw Hanson in September, it didn't even occur to me. I must be growing up. lol

Just a question to those of you in Canada who have Tom's Shoes. How did you get them?? I wanted to order some stuff off the website for Christmas presents. I'm trying to be Earth friendly with my presents as much as possible this yr. But they won't ship to Canada. Are there stores that you can buy them in?? I just watched it a few nights ago because I found my copy in a box of stuff my mom had given me from her house. It had been in my garage so I was pretty excited.
I laughed and laughed through the whole thing. I was like, ya, you can tell there was an 11 yr old in the band then. :P My husband was trying to ignore the fact that I found it so entertaining and kept asking me if they only had 2 songs at that point because they mostly only play mmmbop and where's the love through the whole video.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
