It's the only one I have so far. Got it on April 16, 2007 as an early 21st b-day prezzie from my mom. I love it, and "The Music Lives" means so much more now, and refers to more the just Hanson now, too. I def want a few more tatts and at least 1 more Hanson tattoo. |

It's not my fave album. More like 2nd fave behind The Walk. It took me a while to fully appreciate this album, though. But now I love it! TTA is amazing! |

Firstly, welcome to the wild and crazy world that is Hanson fandom! You'll love every second of it! Secondly, I've been a fan since 1997 when I saw them on YTV's Psykoblast. I was 11 and they were the first band I loved. I've remained on the wagon all the way through the droughts. Sure, I wouldn't check the website as often as I do now, but there was a drought! HaHa! I love these guys! My first concert this past September was amazing...meet and greet and front row. Made me love being a Hanson fan that much more. The guys are just so normal!!! Okay, sorry....kind of rambled..... |

For Hanson to go on tour with George Michael. A co-headlining type of thing. To be able to see my fave band and fave solo artist would be absolutely AMAZING!!!!! |

No...'cause the Blue Sky tank I ordered with it was unavailable in the size I wanted. So I changed it to the scarf...which was just restocked. It has only just now been shipped. |

QUOTE: dyin2balivelol Zac wore that shirt on the walk in Vancouver! Then wore the heart Hanson tee during the show. I was totally just going to post this! HaHa! I love that I have a picture with me and Hanson where Zac is wearing the famous striped shirt! LOL!
I also love the heart shirt!
Another t-shirt, I've seen him wear a few times in pics is the one with the dice on it. I think he wore it on the Walk DVD and I've seen some pics of the Walks where he's wearing it. |

Exactly!
Take the Walk is not about music anyway...it's about change and helping those less fortunate. |

I made a post about the site and what it does yesterday. It was viewed but only one post this morning. Sounds like she's gonna donate! Hoping the other people that viewed the post will/have donated, too! |

Eh...his pants aren't tight enough! HaHa!
But, I have seen A LOT of guys wearing scarves, and those '80s inspired raybans. Everytime I see those sunglasses I always think of Taylor....and I think of Zac when I see the cop inspired ray bans.
Once I saw a guy wearing a vest, tie, dress shirt, dress pants, and sneakers, and was like "WHOA! That guy's channeling Isaac!" I believe he was in a band, too! HaHa! |

What kind of school do you want to teach at? I want to teach either grades 2, 3, or 4...before kids get overly snobby, but after the really clingy stage. LOL! At a normal public school. Everytime I listen to this verse I seriously think to myself "So THAT"S what happened to Johnny!" HaHa! Omg! I love you for bringing George Michael into this!!!
As for the Taylor/Johnny thing, Taylor makes it too easy to compare the two. I wish I had included this in my previous reply, lol. Taylor didn't help conceal his inner JDepp-fanboy-self any when he did this interview (which was done after I started sharing my thoughts on ~*Taylor Depp*~... Tay, it's ok to get these things out there in the open): http://www.kansan.com/stories/2007/nov/08/5_questions/?news Hee Hee! I love that your current song obsession is Faith! Check your PMs. |

QUOTE: IkesCadillacBluesOh dang, I'm having one of those Eli Stone moments again!! I think I'm still going to stick with "Faith" by George Michael as long as it involves the dancing, snapping, and clapping. Though I agree, Isaac singing "Father Figure" would be absolutely delish too! Isaac guitar pick mystery theory? What is this? I am intrigued! Oh...yes...Faith would be awesome, too! I think Faith deserves a Hanson cover...Limp Bizkit covered it and totally messed it up. The girl that sings American Boy sampled it/based one of her new songs off of it and messed it up. Hanson needs to cover it......show that a George Michael song can be sung by another artist and still sound amazing! I gave Zac 2 CDs of my fave GM songs at my m&g. Both those songs were on it (duh!) So, maybe next tour? ***crosses fingers*** I gotta have faith! HaHa!
And Let It Be....oooo....yes! |

I posted this on the members' side, but want to know what you guys think, too. Okay, so Hanson always does an amazing job when they do covers of famous songs. Even non-fans can admit that. Like, I heard the Beatles version of "Oh! Darling" the other day and thought, "Hmmm...this is good, but Zac does it better." Zac's version is more rock and high energy, just more fun in general. Same with their version of Run Run Rudolph. Anywho.... Saying all this, What song by what artist do you think Hanson should absolutely cover that would blow the minds of that artists' fans? I'm asking this because everytime I listen to George Michael's "Father Figure" I can't help but think Isaac would do an amazing job with this song. But when I mentioned this on GM's fan club they all said NO! And that no one but George Michael should sing his songs as no one else can do them any justice. But knowing how great Hanson is at covers, I know that if they did cover Father Figure GM"s fans would probably quite enjoy it. Anywho....now it's your turn.... |

Not with my friend who came with me to the concert. She's not a fan, but kind of likes some of their music. However...other people....yeah...they make fun. But....after 11 years I'm so used to it. It does not phase me one bit. |

I met him in a m&g. Other people meet him after the show, behind the venue. Or on the Walk...but that's not the place to ask for hugs. One day you will get to meet him, and his brothers. It took me 11 years to get to a concert, and I was just lucky enough to get the opportunity to meet them, too. Just be patient. Good things come to those who wait. |

I made a sign for the Walk...but it was about the Walk. And I held it up to the sides so the people we were passing could read it. It was kind of a good thing I did....the guys didn't have their sign. LOL! As for the show....no. No one had any signs. For the most part, we've all grown up and that just wouldn't be right to be waving signs around. |

That's easy.... Click the link in my siggy! HeeHee! Vancouver = BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!! I had a moment with each brother...talked with Isaac on the Walk, gave Zac a Yoda McD's toy & George Michael CD during my m&g (and had a laugh with him about me being dorky and bringing gifts! LOL!), and gave Taylor a box of Girl Guide cookies after the show. Plus...front row, on Taylor's side. Pretty sure he stared right at me a few times and sang right to me! HaHa!
But really...best night of my entire exsistence! |

Well, I became a Hanson fan in August of 1997, at the tender age of 11, when I saw them on YTV's Psykoblast. I had seen them in my teen mags, but didn't care for them.....until I heard the music! As soon as the show was over I ran to my room and devoured every bot of information those mags said, developed a crush on Zac, and just fell in love with them. My mom worked at a record store and bought me MON, which I slowly paid her back for. It wasn't my first CD, but it was the first CD of my first fave band. I remember lying on my bed, with MMMBop on repeat, reading the lyrics in the booklet just so I could know what they were saying in the chorus....and then singing that chorus EVERYWHERE! HaHa! I remember singing MWY to my JTT poster that was on the back of the door. I remember being picked on in middle school because I liked Hanson. But it didn't matter...I was a Hanson fan. I devoured everything Hanson. I can't really say why I stayed in the gap between TTA and Underneath. I remember begging my mom for UA....because it had been so long w/o new Hanson music. I got the CD. I think I became a fan because the music was so happy....and Zac was soooo cute! HaHa! But as I've gotten older, and they've gotten older, it's become more about the music and who they are as people. When I had my m&g in september, at my first Hanson concert, I was of course very nervous. The walk did calm my nerves a bit, especially when I got to talk to Isaac. But the wait, in the venue, while watching the first group, made me feel even more nervous. However, once it was our turn and I recahed Zac and he smiled his big grin at me, I was so relaxed. I'm never gonna forget his smile when I gave him the Yoda bobblehead McD's toy, or the George Michael CDs and the thank you card. Having him smile like that at me was what my 11 year old self always wanted. LOL! Having my arm around Taylor's waist ('cause I didn't know where else to put it! LOL!) for the picture, and giving him Girl Guide cookies after the show, was amazing. Meeting the band that I've loved for half my life was the best moment of my entire life. I don't think anything could top it....for now anyway! LOL! I became a fan for the music, but I'm a fan today, not only because they still know how to make rockin' music, but because of the genuinely great guys that they are. The connection that they have with their fans is amazing. The feelings that their music evokes in me is magnificent. Their charity work is just awe inspiring. Anywho...that is why I am a fan.
Sorry for the novel...it just kind of flowed. HaHa! |

Here is the e-mail Area sent to Province: Hi Wendy,
Could I please get your opinion on this fundraising idea that was sent to me by a Deputy District Commissioner in my Area, via Guider in her District?
As I understand it no money from GGC would be donated to this cause - the actual funds are donated by a band called Hanson - the girls would simply be taking part in a one mile walk. You can read about this on Hanson's website at www.hanson.net
My thoughts are yes, this would be an appropriate activity for our girls to take part in. Please let me know if I am right, thanks for your input!
Dawnette Mid Island Area
Here is Province's response: Hi Dawnette: I know it doesn’t seem like they are fundraising; but just by being in the walk someone else is supporting them, which in turn supports another organization. Can they hand out water or something instead of walking? w
GRRR! My District and Area love the idea.....but because we're "supporting another organization" we can't do it. And clearly Area is missing the point. Handing out water? HA! The whole point is to walk! Stupid new rules!!!!! Well, now I'm just gonna have to do more work to get a Walk to happen in my town. Not Girl Guide related of course, but still, a Walk will happen in Parksville! I am determined!!!! |

yup!
I've felt it twice this year....once after seeing George Michael and then again after Hanson. Though Hanson wasn't so bad because of my m&g...I'm still in complete shock, so I'm still on cloud nine. |
