Probably either being able to fly or communicate with animals.
Or being able to snap my fingers and have money appear out of nowhere would be nice lol.

Two of my rats died within 4 days of each other :(
It was right before I came home too.  But they were getting old and were sick when I was home for Thanksgiving. I thought they'd have a few more months though :(

Rocky Horror Picture Show.  It's too much fun to listen to lol.  I'm a little disappointed Rocky's song isn't on there though; ah well.
I also like the soundtrack for Man on the Moon; which is essentially just a bunch of songs by R.E.M or Michael Stipe.

That's great that she's okay.  I know how sad I would be if anything happened to mine.

I have off and on problems with insomnia.  I think it's hereditary b/c my mom and grandma are the same way.  I used to have really bad problems with insomnia though where I'd be laying in bed for three hours or more before I'd fall asleep and then I'd be tired all day but be wide awake when it was time to go to bed.  So I know how you feel; insomnia is terrible.

Do you know what might be causing it?  I know a lot of the times I've had trouble with insomnia it's because I was really stressed out.
Tips that my doctor gave me: get enough exercise during the day, don't take naps during the day, don't use your bed for anything other than sleeping (i.e. don't watch TV, read, etc. in bed), and don't eat within two hours of going to bed.

LOL; there's like 30 threads on this.  It's like Hanson on House part II haha.

But yeah, that particular writer on yahoo always does really lame lists.  At least he was somewhat complimentary to Hanson.

not to be rude, but why would you take a baby to a concert anyhow? I wouldnt...not even a five year old, not a hanson concert anyhow...some of the fans act like tards. A childs attention span isnt as long as an adults and get bored quickly...its also loud and thier hearing is as developed as ours.

that is why there are protective head gear for that

I know there are ear monitors like the guys (and their fam) wear that they can hear themselves, but not go deaf from the screaming, but aren't those kind of expensive?  And for a small child?
I think an outdoor concert could be cool for smaller kids because there's generally a bit more room and the parent and their child could stand off to the side more; but most clubs are packed a bit tighter and the only place I'm thinking it would really be safe for a small child would be in the back (or maybe the balcony in some venues), where I doubt the kid would really be able to see very well even if their parent was holding them up.

It's an interesting idea, but I don't see how it would work at most venues.  Maybe you could do that at an outdoor show (which Hanson doesn't do that many of), but in most of the venues Hanson plays, I don't think it would really work.  Plus a lot of fans would complain about it not being fair if those fans got a better seat/view just b/c they had children.

I'm not saying hanson fans with kids should get special treatment or a better seat... just a section that is kid friendly..i wouldnt recommend front row.. but somewhere in the venue.

Generally though if people bring their children they'll stand off to the side or towards the back where it's not as 'dangerous'; which would negate the need for a special section if the view's not going to be any better.  I don't know.  I'm just thinking most of the venues aren't big enough to have a special area set off for children and their parents.
It's not really up to Hanson or the venue to make sure children who are brought to the show are safe and able to enjoy the concert; it's up to the parents who decided their child could come.

Yeah, I'm usually happy to see Hanson mentioned, but this list was so bad.  It's like the guy wrote down a bunch of people who used to be teen idols and then drew their names out of hats until all the slots were filled.

1. The Weepies (although I only seem to like the songs the guy sings instead of the girl); but I really like the songs "World Spins Madly On" and "Love Doesn't Last Too Long"

2. The Sonics

3. Rufus Wainwright

I am because I want to see my family and my pets again.  But I'm also going to be going back to my old job for a few weeks (until break's over) and I'm not really looking forward to it.  I mean, it's good because I need the money, but I really didn't like the job especially during the holidays.

and seriously, this thread isn't going to chance anybody from being "annoying" - and the original poster and those who have commented have most likely been annoying themselves in concerts.

whoops; for some reason I thought I was in Simply Hanson instead of Just Hanson. ah well.  Trust me though, there's been much worse threads.

Kind of random, but I think I saw a video of you talking to Isaac on youtube.  That quote looks word for word what he was saying.

I'm about to watch Notes on a Scandal for the second time in a row b/c the first time I wasn't paying attention because I was writing a book review.
Also random- the book review is supposed to be around 500 words and mine is almost 1000; I have to learn when to stop talking lol.

They said they had two other kids, from her previous marriage. I just assumed she had them? I guess adoption could have taken place. It's just so bizarre and I still want to know how he was literally capable of delivering or if it was a cesarian section? I'm too nosey.

She had the first two but had to have a hysterectomy.

At first I wondered why they didn't go for adoption, but I think I can understand why they felt him having the baby was the best option.
After all, adoption can be a long process and there's no telling how long they'd have to wait for a baby.  And a surrogate would cost more money, plus not knowing what that surrogate mother may be doing to her body and any consequential damage that could be done to the baby.  So in the end, I can see why they would decide for him to carry since he still had the equipment.

I haven't honestly cared enough about the story to find out about the delivery, but I would think he would do cesarian.  Hopefully.

His wife isn't physically capable of having babies, that's why he's doing it.

I do question all the shows, magazine interviews, etc. they do.  Hopefully they'll fade back into obscurity after this pregnancy is over, and they'll devote their time to their children and not try to stay in the spotlight.

I don't like the idea of students being allowed to carry weapons.  I know there's been talk about whether or not teachers should be allowed to carry a concealed weapon (with a permit of course) in school.  That idea I actually might support.

Since school shootings are generally committed by only one or two people it would be easier to stop them if the teachers were allowed to have a weapon.  That would be a horrible responsibility to put on a teacher I realize, but it could prevent the large number of casualties like those seen at Columbine and Virginia Tech.

The idea of professors makes me nervous too.

There are too many people with no experience with guns that have them.

If this law passes...I'm moving.

There should definitely be some rules and tests that the teachers would have to go through before they would be allowed to have a gun.  I think in case of an emergency it could be good.  Again though, it would be putting way too much on a teacher's shoulders.
