Seeing I met half my of boyfriends while they were on the clock, I have a bit of experience in this department. I just casually flirted with them until they asked me for my number. Be assertive and flash a sweet smile. Suggest seeing a movie together or hanging out downtown Minneapolis. Good luck!

Should i use my phone sex voice? No I'm j/k! Thank you for the advice!

The tragus isn't that bad. I have 13 earrings (was 14, but I had a problem with my right tragus).

I have 3 in each lobe, 3 in each cartilage, and my left tragus done.

Weird, I had a problem with my left tragus, so I took that one out and got my right one done, and haven't had any problems with it for 6 years!

Weird, I literally just got done watching Across The Universe like 2 minutes ago!

But yea, I remember the Princess Diaries soundtrack came out the same day as Celebrity by Nsync. That day was so exciting! Strangely enough that day added extra fuel to my love for Hanson, and totally destroyed my love for Nsync, what a horrible horrible album. Hah, I think that was a good turning point in my life!

Commericialization might be the reason that people think that JB have taken over Hansons throne. Some poeple actually look at that as a good thing!

I would love to get a tattoo on my arm, but I am reluctant because a lot of professions look down on visible tattoos. Even the part time retail job I have right now, in the dress code, says that you can't have an tattoos that will be visible to the customer, and if you do you have to cover it up. Not only that but I think some people might take me less seriously with tattoos all over my arms.

Back to the original topic, I'm going to get my first hanson related tattoo on the inside of my ankle, just as soon as I can find someone to design it for me.

Well I've pretty much decided to get it, as soon as I've got the money lol. I like the lyric "the girl who listens to the young man's music" because it's fitting, but I'm not sure what to put with it ... Any ideas?

Yes, use the right lyric. "The girl who listens to a young man's song"

That's hilarious that you bring that up b/c at MONA when he said it, that's totally what I thought he meant, that he was playing guitar at his piano lessons. Which made it even more "HUH" than the story was in the first place.

Hmmm that's a pretty good idea! Or maybe I can find a show somewhere, and say something like "Hey have heard _____?" and then say like "Well their playing at wherever, you should definitely come check them out!"

I dunno man it's been way too long since i've done this lol...way too long!

Yea I do talk to him, I'm usually pretty good at coming up with witty responses. It's not so much a problem of approaching him to talk to him, but what to say when I get there lol! I think the only problem is he seems kind of shy and awkward-ish you know like...I dunno that makes him sound lame..not in a lame way in a cute way. Anyway, it's hardly ever not busy, it's a gas station. OK I'll tell you what I was thinking:

I go in and say "Hey J, so how old are you?", and if he's over 21, which I hope he is I say "So would your girlfriend be mad if you went to get a drink with me?" and then hopefully he would say I don't have a girlfriend, and then I would slip him a piece of paper with my number and say "Well then there is nothing stopping you"

I don't know it sounds so much better in my head, and I'm sure it totally wouldn't actually work out if I did it! LoL

It seems as though lately we've been giving each other advice on what to do if you like someone. Well I have a different question. I like this guy (well I think he's cute at least), and I'm going to ask him to hang out, but I don't know how to go about it.

He works at store I visit at least once a week, but I hardly know anything about him besides his name. I don't know his age, or if he has a girlfriend, and I've been trying to think of a way to get this information out of him, without just blurting out "Do you have a girlfriend?". Any ideas??

I'd say, your first move should be asking him if he wants to hang out sometime. That way if he says no it's not like you put yourself out there completely and if he says yes, then when you are hanigng out you can tell him that you like him.

Just go for it! Some of the best guys that I have dated have been guys that I persued, instead of the other way around! I lot of people think it's so "modern" for girls to go after guys, but it's 2008 and it can be so worth it!

oohh yeah I barely remember either one of those shows because the 1st one they didn't allow cameras and even though I snuck mine in I was too scared to take more than 1 video clip haha, and the 2nd one I think I just didn't bring one cuz I figured it'd be the same rules... haha

I live in Roseville right now cuz I go to Northwestern College, but my parent's home is in Circle Pines which is by Blaine and Lino Lakes. Where in MN are you from??

I don't do it to get a rise out of people, I do it because its been discussed before and it gets quite annoying after a while.

Well then don't read it, if it annoys you it makes no sense to even click on the thread? And even if you accidentally clicked on it once, why would you continue to come back??

I'm sorry, that totally sucks, but as least he didn't totally lead you on and then just up and leave. At least he wasn't telling you he wanted you to be his girlfriend, then all of a sudden just skipping town.

However,  I can see where he is coming from. There have been a few times when I've thought about just leaving, getting away, and it only had to do with me and not anyone else.

I don't think you should make him feel guilty about it, you never know what his reasons are or when he is coming back. I think if it is meant to be between the two of you then someday it will be. It was probably just bad timing that you guys only started hanging out recently. It just sounds like he needs to get away for a while and find himself. It is a sucky situation but if you respect his decisions and are there for him he is more likely to want to keep in touch with you if he does leave, which is better than nothing right?

Wow, I just read this whole thread.

Honestly if I paid to see a show and it last 1.5 hours I would be disappointed, I'm curious as to what shows you are seeing that are so short! Also, those of you that are "only there for Hanson", I feel sorry for you b/c some of my favorite bands I discovered because they were openers at a show (Hanson and non-Hanson shows). Actually one of my most favorite bands The Kin, opened for Pat McGee, who opened for Hanson so lol...figure that one out!

Venue curfews do have to do with the ages of people in the venue. A lot of times when Hanson comes to Minneapolis they have 18+ shows so that they don't have to follow the curfew. There are state and city-wide curfews for people under 18, and clubs/bars/venues are no exception, except for on the weekends. Thats why they  usually play longer in Chicago, b/c their shows are usually on weekends, which is also why being on weekdays this year they are having doors open at 5pm.

Most of the time I don't feel like I'm crazy. Especially when I talk to Hanson fans, I'm one of the more tame fans, but when I start talking to other people about it, I somtimes have to stop in the middle of my story and just say "Yea anyway" b/c they start getting that wide eyed you are crazy look, that's when I start to feel like I am crazy. Like in 2 weeks when we leave for our trip to Chicago and Des Moines, to see 3 shows in 3 days, everyone who is a non-fan just thinks it's a random road trip with the girls!
