yeah the prices will for sure go back down to normal, and i figured that they thought 25 was alot too and thats why they included teh cd. I had always wondered why the opening bands merch- no matter who opens- was always the same price as the main act, but seeings as they dont get to choose their own prices it makes more sense. I'm glad that I had found that out, so now i know to check and see what average merch prices are for a band before i go see them open.

ok i am going to be looking for your thread as for where everyones gone - leigh apparently fell off the face of the earth, heather... well, she better be around soon, z is in england, kev is busy with z, claires busy with them both but shes on yahoo a bit, and jeniper is probably busy as normal, and i dont want to post to myself 100 times :p plus, claire and i have been posting quite abit on ebe's board, and also been workin on their street team stuff, pain in my butt. their 'fans' here suck. apparently only their cali fans care lol :p

I'm sorry no one showed up for your walk, that is pretty sad to see how few people have showed up for some of them. the fact that you went ahead and walked anyways is really cool to me, hopefully you'll find a way to get more people involved on your next walk... i also find it to be reallly cool that you're doing another one and not getting down on the fact that no one showed for this one. good for you :) I'm hoping to do one here on campus in the spring, but i still need to find out how to go about getting permission for it.

i just got some good news about the boat. School is closed the mon and tues that we'll be gone, so I dont even have to miss any classes. WOOT WOOT (which means of course, I will be able to skip a week of class for EBE shows if They really do tour in the spring like they "hopefully" will.

yeah i meant to say, i am not professionally a writer, but its definitely what i am. I can't not write, no matter what ive always got something i'm writing, ever since i first learned how. i wrote my first story in the first grade and was hooked, havent stopped since.

why not!? lol i was a fan for a month and knew all the words... im like that though. when i REALLY like a new song/new cd i will just play it on repeat until i learn it. although, i'm going to see another one of my favorite bands this friday and their new cd came out over a year ago... yeah, i still dont know more than 1/2 the songs. i wasn't as happy with their new cd as i was their last though, so i will be listening to the new one and abandon it mid listen for the old one. haha

so i even went as far as to look for flights... and i could do az for 200$ and utah for 250.... but, im not because i need to settle down on the costs of my extra activities... plus, ive decided on saving up for ebe's possible fall tour - if they have dates during spring break, i will do those for sure, otherwise i will just do as many as i can without skipping alot of school. It better happen too lol. And drummerchick- you should add something to the austin appreciation thread :p it's lacking your input.

i think campuses are great places, as for mentioning hanson i would first highlight the cause and ttw.net while getting people involved, and then of course at the walks you would mention who is donating the money for each person that walked. and more about takethewalk.net. I think the walks are more important to promote the whole situation in africa, it's not like its something to do to get hanson noticed, so they really don't need to be a main focus on your walk at all.
