I'm not sure I understand who the girl is. Is the girl Jesse someone in Canada? Or is it the lady with aids they sang to when in africa? It's great they were on MTV there even though it was a brief.

At least some people made it for the walk. Did anyone stay and listen to the names being read off of those that died from aids? It probably took hours to read them all.

Considering the amount of photo's they have taken of them they look good nearly all the time. But they aren't perfect and have their moments like we all do. I know I have a few saved photo's like that but it doesn't matter.
I've noticed they usually dress up more in the bigger cities on each coast probably because more media might be filmimg them but usually they dress casually like everyone else. And I think there are alot of guys that can pull off having long hair, Zac's just one of them.

I remember watching the Pop up video's all the time too. I probably have them on video somewhere.
Thanks for posting the link here, I haven't seen it in a long time.
I think they have one fact wrong though, Hanson wasn't discovered at a Kansas City fair. Wasn't it at SXSW music festival in Texas back in 94?
That's what it says in the Official Hanson book anyway.

I saw the Jonas Brothers on a couple different shows this past week, American Music awards and on Jay Leno. But didn't see the halftime show.
I won't go into detail about my thoughts on their singing because I know there are a lot of JB fans on here. But I will say Hanson has nothing to worry about as far as vocal comparisons.

This is a really interesting thread to read. It doesn't really matter at what stage a person becomes a Hanson fan does it? As long as people either rediscover or newly discover their music is what it's all about. To put it simply, they have always made amazing music and with each CD they release new people seem to realize how much talent they have.
I've been a fan since back in 97 also and have followed their music and career ever since. Maybe because I'm a much older fan I remember the crazy hysteria stages and all the different stages in between that they have had. Like anyone else Hanson has just progressed into what they are today. I think of Hanson as they are now more then anything else but when I listen to their older music or watch there older appearances it's just a collection of great memories.
I think they deserve more recognition for their great music and the causes they are a part of and I think that is happening in gradual stage's. I don't think they need to be mega huge again like they were in 97 but I just want as many people as possible to hear how incredible their music is and to see who they are now. The old stereotyped people had of them needs to go so Hanson can be respected for who they are now.

Hanson has always been amazing to their fans and this post really shows that. We all know they might have an off day once in awhile but they really do care about their fans. I've always had good experiences with them.
I fell face first to the ground on one of the walks once, but I was extremely glad that none of them saw me fall. I would have been very embarrassed.

It doesn't always take hours but it can. It depends on the city or how they are feeling that night. Many times they go on the bus right after the show before most get out there. That's why a few people leave the show early. Many times they come out later.
It's different in each city. Sometimes they come out one at a time and sign, other times there are a couple of them walking down the line. And then there are times when they don't come out at all.
Good luck at your next show meeting them.

What an odd question. If they were girls they wouldn't sound anything like Hanson and wouldn't be like them so I would probably say no.

I don't think anyone really knows the answer to your question. But we do know they had taken lessons years ago when they were young on different instruments and some vocal training.
Any other knowledge could have been from them studying on their own and possibly through experience with other musicians.
But I don't think they have gone to any kind of classes and learned from a teacher.

Hanson's appearance was excellent. But this show is so stupid and I can't see it lasting till January to go for a full hour instead of half an hour. It's good that Hanson was on now.

I've heard them say they have Danish ancestors also in interviews. I think they made a comment once that some people have asked if they are swedish but they said they weren't.

I remember a few years ago someone posted here on the site that they wished that Taylor would stop doing the whooh's and Oh yeah's when he sang. There was something said about his needing to grow out of doing it or something.
I thought they were nuts for saying something like that about him because it just wouldn't be a Taylor song if he didn't do what comes naturally to him as he does when he sings.
When I listen to his songs I sing those parts too. LOL

Why would you even consider such a thought? They will always be making music. They have said many time in interviews that if they weren't making music of their own they would be writing or producing music for other artists.
But they are to passionate about music of their own to ever quit.
I really can't see them doing anything else.
They have gave different answers to Hnet reporter questions simular to this and about their kids. It doesn't sound like they would push their kids into a music career unless it was what the kids really wanted to do and they were talented enough make it.

This is exactly what Hanson wants people to do so I'm sure they will be very proud of all of you that put this together. From looking at the photo's it looks like something did a speech like Taylor does. What kind of speech was made?

Great Job! I don't know how you were able to get so many to show up for the walk in Chicago but I'm really glad it was an awesome turnout. Most walks don't get that many people.

They just sent out a news letter and it says that it will start shipping monday. But will take a week or more to arrive.
I saw the sample copy and there is alot of writing and photo's in the book. I'm looking forward to reading what they have written about their experiences through the past few years, the trips to africa, the walks, ect.

I've had some good conversations with William. I agree that he's a really nice guy. I'm always surprised that he remembers me each time I see him. I hope he's able to play with Hanson for a long time because they get along so well.

There's so many great interviews and video's that Hanson has done it's hard to keep up with them all. I seem to remember a different little part to the Popworld 2005 video that isn't shown in this one. That guy really had a crush on Taylor. LOL
