I could have swore, here in Toronto, ON. On the station 98.1 CHFI throughout the Christmas season, I heard their cover of Little Saint Nick a couple of times. Throughout Christmas, The Beach Boys version was played more of course.

I would ask this, do you guys play Laser Quest every now and then? And what codenames they used in their good old days.
-Because I'm a member of LQ, and have been for many years, like many of my fellow questers lol.

Oops, wouldn't post again, stupid Netscape.
Anyways, I'm not sure if anyone here has seen this or someone here has made this but it is quite interesting.
"I Will Come to You" on top of the instrumental track of "God Only Knows" one of the best songs ever written. It's also interesting to note the way this video is like, showing shots back and forth of the Wilson Brothers (with of course the two other guys, Mike Love and Al Jardine), and the Hanson Brothers. These two are similar bands, especially the Beach Boys later material.
Well here it is,

I saw them tonight at the Kool Haus near the heart of Toronto. While people have said they are comparable to the Pink Floyd, the way the experience of the show is like with lights overpowering the performance, that sure didn't seem like it today. They did have some of the laser effects from the P*U*L*S*E concert though. Perhaps the venue ruined the experience, as they have played at Massey Hall in the past. Australian's Floyd program tonight was a full out performance of The Wall, all the way through, no skipped songs. After that, came a post Waters song by them called Learning to Fly, followed by Wish You Were Here, the classic instrumental, One of These Days, and finishing off with the closer of Dark Side of the Moon, which is Brain Damage/Eclipse. Overall, it was a good performance, they tried to do an electric version of the wall building, which was famous during the 1980-81 Wall concerts and the Berlin Concert by Roger Waters in 1991. It worked. One of the people in this band sounded very close to how Roger Waters sounds on the Wall. This concert would have been a true spectacle for me, had they played Echoes after they finished the Wall. For those of you who don't know, Echoes is a masterpiece 22 minute song before they created Dark Side of The Moon. The diversity of the song is perhaps my favorite Floyd song, at David Gilmour's solo concert I saw in 2006 at Massey Hall, I'll be honest, hearing Echoes live was perhaps the best thing ever for me, on top of that, it was the only time I ever saw Richard Wright live, he has now passed on. One more curiosity about the song Echoes, if you guys are familliar with Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera, he deliberatly ripped of the filler sections in between the verses of Echoes by Pink Floyd, u know the DAAAAA-DA-DA-DA-DA-DAAAAAA! Anyways, that's it, this was a good show, has anyone else here seen the Australian Pink Floyd

Oops, one thing I forgot to mention, it's amazing how time flies, Megaman 8 came out a few months before Middle of Nowhere did. And the next numbered game would come almost 12 years later, amazing isn't it? Middle of Nowhere doesn't seem that long ago. But anyways, got any ideas for how to rearrange this?

I'm doing a rearrangement of a song from a game, because it has the potential to sound really nice. The game in question is the retro made Megaman 9, which has the 8 bit graphics and sound but released in September online....8 bit music is more than boops and beeps, it is quite amazing how u can make a catchy melody with just 2 channels, where one note could be played at once, and a bass channel, as well as a percussion channel. I'm picturing a rearrangement for this song to be somewhat slower, and have more of a feel to it. Anyone have any ideas on how this should be arranged? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7qcJwJfyyk

Sorry about the now triple post, something is going on with the other browser....
Anyways, any of you play this downloadable game for the Wii? Playing with random people online is not the same as playing with people you can have on a list. Any of you play this? It's a really fun game of course.

I was waiting at the Bloor-Yonge station, on the Bloor platform and admist the chaos beneath one of the world's busiest subway stations, was a busker on a violin playing the melody of Hanson's "Go" on violin, had a very nice sound to it. I actually threw down $10 into the person's case as I walked by. This was a great experience, and it made my day, the peacefulness of it. Hopefully I'll see the busker again, but you never know.
