tonight at dinner my dad was like "susie, i had a dream last night." and starts telling me something about a dream that involved his work, a nd i couldnt figure out why in the world he was telling me this. but then he said that in his dream, the guy he was talking to told him that one of the hanson's was his new patient. which is just super weird. my dad is a research biologist with a focus in male human reproduction. so yeah.
but even my dad is having dreams about hanson now!! I'm usually fairly good with lyrics - but i know there's a few Hanson ones that I screwed up at first. The only one i can think of now though is in With You In Your Dreams, the line that is 'and though my flesh is gone', i used to think it was 'and though my friends she's gone', mostly cause I was a little creeped out by the lack of flesh image as an 11 year old! lol! That makes more sense to me. I think I thought 25 days ago because my piano book for This Time Around said it was, but those tend to be wrong lyrically, haha. oh my gosh! i never even thought of the "20 five days ago" option. i just assumed that it was "25 days ago!" thats crazy! i don't like it on my eggs, but i put ketchup on my mac and cheese! its delicious. i usually eat velveeta shells and cheese. but if i'm eating kraft, i HAVE to have ketchup. its the only way i can choke it down! so, i try to convert my friends into fansons all the time. and one of my friends actually took some music from me last year, and now she really likes them. we went to the mall together today and we were singing hanson the whole time! love it. she even asked if she could go to a show with me next time they are on tour. i'm so excited!! and then! this afternoon/evening my roommate's ipod was on shuffle, and mmmbop came on! and she is one of the stronger anti-hanson friends that i have. adn she didnt change it! she was singing along. it was great. plus my boyfriend was here so it was driving him nuts (he is very anti-hanson). but anyways. my roommate + hanson = awesome!! and THEN!! my friends and i did a secret santa, and that first friend that i converted made a mixed cd for her person. it was really cute. a driving cd full of songs with titles with the words "here" and "there" in them. and what made the list?? been there before! and the friend of mine that received this just texted me and told me that she really likes BTB even though its hanson! which is just amazing. what a great day!!!!! sorry this got so long. but i'm a see in antihanson, and its just so nice when the people around me like them too!!
ps- the draw back of the day. when we were all at dinner tonight, my boyfriend saw my h.net card in my wallet and started making fun of me. but oh well. the rest of the day was great!!
