Very random! I'm new to Charleston so I don't know what the Hanson scene is like but I'm glad to see there are Hanson fans in the area. I hadn't found any yet!

I find myself kinda having to defend poor Dave Barnes here, lol. He played so many songs because it was Hanson FEATURING Dave Barnes--he was the main opener. Everybody Else was added to the roster later, they weren't the main opener. I thought Dave was awesome. And I'm not just saying that because I spent the entirety of the Hanson show working his merch table. LOL, okay, so maybe I am. But I DID like his stuff and I was thoroughly amused when he came by the table after his set and signed autographs and stuff. He's a complete and utter goofball. ^ that's fine that he was the main opener. But I wish they would have either had JUST Dave be the opener...or he should have played less songs. 10 songs from an opener???? :/ It was already late as is... the first couple of songs were great but then it just started to get annoying haha. |

It did feel like a lot when we were standing there, but I'm sure Hanson would have gone on stage the same time regardless of when the openers finished.
If they weren't ready, they weren't ready, you know?
Time would have dragged by even more slowly if we were standing doing nothing instead of listening to an extra few of Dave Barnes' songs.

I really enjoyed Dave Barnes, but I agree that his set may have gone on a little too long. I understand that he was the featured artist, but I think maybe he should have gone on before Everybody Else, b/c he was kind of chill and low energy (not that there's anything inherently wrong with that) and it was difficult to go from the super high energy of Everybody Else to the chill Dave Barnes set, all the while waiting for Hanson.

When me and the two girls I stayed with went down for breakfast he was sitting there eating breakfast, like you do.
