McCain is quiet literally a JOKER! And that Sarah Palin is just being played as a card. McCain never gave a damn about women! His party called Hilary Clinton a, and I quote, "BITCH!!" And what is his response - LAUGHTER!!! There is NO RESPECT, no such thing as respect whatsoever! That act alone cost him the loss of female votes. So what does he do to regain them? Puts up an UNEXPERIENCED FORMER-BEAUTY  - now keeping in mind that she is supposed to be in charge of the White House when it is in danger, was she the best move? The answer is clearly a NO. But for those stupid and blind enough to see that she was just given the position for winning back female votes. If we are to talk of the PROFESSION itself... the woman lacks it majorly. And for a role that big to play - a FAR TO BEIG A RISK that it verges on UNACCEPTABLE, DANGEROUS! McCain is a PLAYER!!

America needs to get back up on it's feet.

MCCAIN can NOT win! Well, he probably can because it still fascinates me that Bush managed to hang on for 8 years! But if McCain wins, he wins unfaithfully and dishonestly. People inside the cycle will be playing about with the votes and make him win.

And that's another reason why not to vote for McCain - CONNECTION WITH BUSH

The very day Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans - what did McCain do? EAT HIS BIRTHDAY CAKE with president Bush! While OTHERS STUCK IN NEW ORLEANS FACING DEATH AND UNBEARABLE CONDITIONS... McCain IS HAPPY nad CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY! POSES FOR CAMERAS ALONGSIDE PRESIDENT BUSH. ALL SMILES. BUT WHAT ABOUT NEW ORLEANS?!!! IT DIDN'T MEAN A THING TO THEM!! And on the day that the Republicans were to start their campaign, it was the same day that the another hurricane struck New Orleans. What did they do? Continue with the show! That's how much they care!! WHY VOTE FOR A PRESIDENT THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS OWN PEOPLE? IF PEOPLE IN HIS LAND ARE SUFFERING, WHY IS IT SO HARD TO SHOW RESPECT?!! Something as little as postponing that advertisment for one day would have been enough - but no!! IF AMERICA IS TO VOTE FOR A PRESIDENT, IT HAS TO VOTE FOR A PRESIDENT THAT UNDERSTANDS SUFFERING!! Another thing - fighting this war is not fighting a war. It's just killing whoever is in your way because you don't have the time to figue out who is and who is not a "terrorist" - notice the inverted comments. This war is categorised a illegal and lost - and with darn good reasons too. This war had nothing but the word destruction written all over. There was no evidence whatsoever to prove that Nuclear Weapons of Massdestruction existed in Iraq. Yet they went to attack it. So this war started with no reason, how is it going to end? It'll have to end with no reason! The war was pointless - so why can't America say they lost? Why can't America say that they were wrong? Why can't America walk out and leave Iraq? They've ruined it and made it unstable - so they can't leave.

Solution? There is only one! Long-term or permanent occupation.

I agree with everything you said delovelylou except for your words regarding Israel. I fail to understand how Israel is committing illegal acts of crime against Palestinians right now.

Here are the facts: Israel has tried at every opportunity to establish a peace agreement. Following the 6 day war, Israel took control of the entire Sinai Penninsula, and then gave it all back for the sake of a peace agreement. They agreed to the partition plan that would split the state, but the Palestinians refused it. The withdrew from areas heavily population by Palestinians, including the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and gave Palestine political autonomy in this areas. This was such a controversial move that Prime Minister Rabin was assassinated following the decision. Has there been two sided violence here? Yes, there has. Former Israeli administrations did treat Palestinians very poorly, and the security wall was not exactly a great decision. But it went both ways. Palestinians (NOT terrorists, there is a difference people) attacked several Jewish holy sites in 2000, and Israel has right to defend itself. I mean the country gets bombed by every terrorist organization in the book, and you're criticizing it because Palestinians refuse to accept Israel's peace propositions?

I've studied this subject objectively. There have been atrocities on either side, but the fact of the matter is that Israel has done the best it can to attempt to achieve peace with Palestine, but Palestine has an uncompromising all-or-nothing policy backed by Hamas and Hezbollah.

If there ever was to be a country that had Nuclear Power, I'm glad it's them. Would you rather Iraq have nuclear power? In 1981, the Israeli air-force destroyed a nuclear reactor that France was building for Iraq. ISrael is the one of the leading countries in terms of development of new technologies and energy research.

 The way you wrote that, it made it sounds as if Obama does not support Israel, which is a lie. He does too. The US stance on Israel has always been one of support, that's not going to change anytime soon.

I'm anti-war as well, but we're not fighting a war with Iraq. We're occupying a country, not fighting them. There's a big difference. I don't like that the U.S. (or any other country) is in Iraq, but we were never fighting with Iraq as a country. We're occupying the country with the intent to fight terrorism. And yes, it's gone too far with regards to the amount of time we have been there, but Bush had absolutely no way of knowing just how far this was all going to go. 

Besides, if you're from Scotland, why do you even care so much? Most of the things that our president does will have NO effect on you whatsoever. He's the President of the United States, not the Ruler of the World...

"We were never fighting Iraq as a country"... ?!!!?!?! I can't believe what I'm reading! Who do you think you are fooling?! The world knows the truth!! Knows that this is a war against Iraq, Iraq's people and Iraq's resources! I can't believe this!!

Everything you have said is an absolute lie - this is what the media spoon-feeds us to believe. Do you honestly think that every single soldier in that country carrying a gun will not actually use it. They are fighting to be alive, fighting to live another day, fighting because they don't want to die a painful death - they have to use it! They have to use the guns - and even missiles for pete's sake!!

Explain to me that if being President of the United States is not being the "Ruler of the World" - why is it that the $700 billion bail-out financial crisis is an international crisis? 

Being anti-war means that you care about human lives and justice. It has noting to do with geography! I am Scottish, and am proud to be so! And as long as there are illegal crimes that are committed I certainly won't fall down to silence. The war in Iraq is very much a war. The intent was not to fight terrorism - it was because Hussein was supposed to have nuclear weapons. When they found out that Iraq didn't have nuclear weapons they tried to twist the reasons for war onto being about terrorism or "freeing the people".

And maybe it's hard to see when you live in Usa, but a lot of the things that your beloved president does affect the rest of the world.The war in Iraq is a huge proof of that

It's sad when you as foreigner know more of what's going on policitally in my country than most of us living here. (I admire you so much for that, btw.) That's why we're in the mess we're in because we'll dive right into whatever sugarcoated words a person has to offer without doing research. I don't care who you vote for just give me educated reasoning that will benefit EVERYONE in this country and not just a chunk of it.

America's become the very thing we ran away from in it's very beginning. 

I'm voting for Obama. The GOP has got us into a war of choice rather then killing Bin Laden (inless Bush, McCain and and of there supportors on this borad have forgotten he is the one who attcked us), Not regulated wall street so we have no choice but bell them out, or face pepression. And not supported alternteve feuls to get of of Middle Easter oil (BTW to you Drill here, drill now "pay less" crowd, it wont work we use 25 % of the worlds oil and only have 3 %of the worlds reserve).

There's NO WAY I'm voting for more of that.

although im all for the democrats, im definitely not for obama. i dont care much who wins now (its not my country anyway, so i guess its less important to me than most of you guys), i was for clinton before. i read her autobiography, loved it. shes got experiece and everything.
