Girls... you may not want to go this route but CONTACT THE PAPER. I'm sure they'll do a short human interest story on the Walk. It IS interesting! They can publish it sometime close to the Walk with the meeting place and time. I'm sure you'll get lots of people show up!!! Also, we can submit it to hanson.net and let them know that our Walk was in the newspaper! What do you think?

okay soooo, MRC has two papers. the reflector, which apparently sucks, and the journal, which is the one run by journalism students.

a girl i work with is in journalism and i asked her about submitting something for it, and she said to send her basically what we're doing and she could pass it along to someone and we would probably have an interview...which would be with a student(s) at the school...so itd be super easy to do and probably very chill. i think we should do it!

i dont know how many people READ that paper, but whatever. :p

I looked on the Herald and Sun websites, and there are email addresses we can submit story ideas too once we know what we want to say. :)

Yeah, The Gauntlet may even be familiar with the Walks since the Calgary Walk was there. Which would be awesome! :)

yeah i think there will be snow by then.... and if not, it will have snowed by then and melted  but still be cold. ill decide that day if im doing it barefoot or not... lol.

and yeah, i bet the gauntlet knows about hanson/the walks already somewhat, but we'll tell them about our walk too! i just sent a message to the girl i work with and just copied what i copied for the event from takethewalk.net...if we get an interview then ill actually use my own words maybe, lol
