yeah sunday nov 2 works! im sure i can book it off. and also, maybe we could all go out for dinner after the walk that day, whoever comes from edmonton and all of us members from calgary who walk, too! FUN.

i definitely dont have room for anybody to stay at my house...unless you want to sleep on the floor or a really uncomfortable couch. YAY RESIDENCE. at least its not a dorm, though, so i cant complain.

Oh, and Mal I will add us to takethewalk.net when we're ready. I'll need to enter the address, date, time, a long and short description of our walk, any location details and we need to choose a cause (wells, AIDS, schools, shoes, or health care) . :)

did we decide on the calgary tower/stephen ave/maybe to eau claire then? i think that would be a good area on a sunday... stephen ave has alot of stores, its near centre street where chinatown is where theres always people...and, yeah, i think it should be good.

Mal, yeah I think Calgary Tower, Stephen Ave, Eau Claire sounds perfect. I will go see if I can figure out how long it is.

Mal, I just google mapped the walk... let's say... starting at Calgary Tower, up a block, down Stephen Ave, up 3rd st to Eau Claire. It says it's 1.4 km, which is like 0.9 miles, which is pretty good! :) What do you think? Or were you thinking of a different route?

wowww thats PERFECT. then we walk walk around eau claire a bit so we actually get to one mile. :p ah i cant wait! theres already 7 attendees on our event..and about that many maybes too...and alot who havent replied to my invitations, let alone yours. im gonna aim for at least 20 people, lol.

Yes!!! A little stroll around Eau Claire, and we'll be right at a mile. That is perfect!!!!! :)
It's exciting that people are already saying they are coming. I'm going to invite like... everyone I know. :) I just haven't done it yet. We'll totally get more than 20 people. And Im going to announce it in my class at school when it gets closer and get my classmates out too. Woohoo! :)

I will say it's for charity and I'm sure my manager will understand. :) Is anyone coming from Edmonton? we could probably meet tomorrow! AND i was just thinking... i was going to do an ecard for my flash assignment on just the walk in general, and i JUST got this genius idea that i should make an ecard invitation for OUR walk. we might not even use it, but it will give me a little more direction in terms of my assignment, lol. but yeah, posters or little flyers would be cool! i could probably make something really fast. :p
