how do i know when and where the walk is?

i live in Seattle! the concert is on 9/8 at 7pm so when and where is the walk and is hanson going to be there?? cuz if they are you know its going to be crazy !

i was reading some other posts and some things were member only and wanted to make sure that i dont have to be in the fan club to find out where the walk is going to be, I really want to go ! I hope i can get off work early so i can make it in time! i bet there will be a lot of people, do they acctually meet the fans or what ???

I had to miss the walk in Seattle because of my school. I made the concert, but I really regret missing the walk. If I could do it all over again, I would have skipped school. I am planning to host my own walk to make up for it, but i still don't feel like it is enough. I feel like I am not a loyal enough fan having not made the walk. 

can you make me feel better? 

Planning your own walk is a great thing, the guys said during the walk through Seattle (and wow, what a wicked route it was) said that even just doing that one mile was enough. That's all you need, one mile, and you'll be acknowledged as doing your part. Of course, exceeding just one mile would be exceeding the bare minimum, so hopefully that helps if not but just a tad.

Myself and I'm sure many others would love to take a walk with you when you get it all planned out.

Thats an idea you could do. I am not sure how I will let people know about my own personal walk im doing for takethewalk.net but Im sure I'll think of something. I'll be happy even if theres just 3 of us there. lol. I know of 3 people that are going to go for sure.

To get the word out, I think a great place to start is right here. We also have a MySpace for the northwest people who are interested in supporting The Walk idea, so you could post it on there as well. Aside from that, invite YOUR friends. You really don't have to make it a Hanson thing at all. As far as anyone is concerned, the only tie-in to Hanson the walk will have is that they will donate a dollar on their behalf, and it goes to support their goal. You don't have to wear Hanson shirts or sing Hanson songs or anything. It supports Africa, not Hanson!

Just invite your friends! And don't have unrealistic expectations. Your walk will probably not have the same response as a Hanson-hosted walk. But if you aim for having like 10 people.. that is completely realistic, and you might even surpass that :)
