I'm promoting her cuz she's awesome!!!

Lots of you probs havn't heard of her...so yes I'm advertising her amazing talents..

Especially since atm she's trying to break into the US market :)

Anyhow, AMAZING Australian singer. Just got the most beautiful voice, and just so kind. (seriously one of the nicest people I've ever met; I've only met her a few times yet she recognises me out of thousands of people; she takes the time to meet everyone, despite being one of the best selling and well known Australian singers. Only 2-3 weeks ago she signed for almost 8 hours! And thats 6 years after first coming to fame). 

She's a best selling Australia artist with many records and awards for her albums and singles. Has 3 albums; all have gone to number 1, and all debut singles from each album have gone to number 1. AND; her debut album broke records for spending the longest amount of time at number one (29 weeks!!) in 2003 :)

Her first album had all 5 singles go to number one. And in 2003 she won a record 8 Aria (the Australian Music Charts basically...) awards; the second highest ever only second to Savage Garden I think!! 

She also had the terrible ordeal of cancer in 2003; at only 18 years of age. But 5-6 years on and she's healthy and very free of it. The way she dealt with it was amazing! And she continues to support cancer charities. 

Oh, and she's engaged to Brian McFadden previously from Westlife lol. 

Her Australian Tour is soon and it sold out within a day or two :) More shows were announced lol.

Its really strange promoting her, when everyone in Australia knows her! And has since 2002!! 

I only promote awesome singers, and she definitely is one! (I think she has more number 1 hits than Kylie Minogue, 12 I think...)

I really like her! I used to listen to her all the time but kinda stopped. I love her song "Born To Try" : )

Delta's got a beautiful voice. I loved her first album, but eventually got sick of the single from her 2nd album where she burns the piano at the end ("Lost Without Each Other" anyone? :P) coz it got overplayed.

I've always wondered how Delta would get on with Hanson if she ever met them, particularly Taylor, coz they're both great pianists.

Lol yeah out of the blue was played WAY too much! HAHA. But I love the current album. but I think innocent eyes will always be the best. I have no idea why theres just something about it as an album that...hmm.

and at least we know they would not have copied each other with piano burning. LOL. Being in completely different countries...although deltas was first i wonder if hanson had heard of her then anyway?? lol it wouldn't be connected. but the burning of the piano is cool for both clips :)

was the Out of the Blue video made before LWEO? I thought LWEO was first. another fun coincedence I found were the photos on the back of the lyric booklet for Born To Try and TTA - they're both photos of Taylor and Delta's hands playing the piano.

anyway, i've only heard In this Life so far from her new stuff. Almost Here with Brian McFadden is another of my faves.

i think someone gave the guys Delta's 2nd album when they were here. I vaguely remember someone saying they gave them a CD, pretty sure it was Delta's... if not, they'd probably hear of her over in the states now anyway.

LOL yeah maybe it did come out first. Was it 2004? I've forgotten. Out of the blue was 2004 anyhow so who knows. lol i doubt its copying though...both look awesome as though!

Oh thats good they'd know of her then :D But yeah, she is starting to get coverage in the US now so lots more people will be becoming aware of her awesomeness. 

She's just so nice though. I've met her 4 times and seen her 5 times. (Visualise tour in 2005 obviously didnt meet lol)

Anyone going to her tour in Jan? I'm going twice lol. Yes...little bit obsessive, 

and thats funny about the hands playing piano...ill have to go look :P i never pick up things like that, i must be blind...or just never paying attention!

Oh, and listen to her version of 'Burn for You' but John Farnham...I love it!! Its on...I think i cant break it to my heart single but dont quote me i cant be bothered checking, but im sure you can find it on youtube as its a live version from...i think live at the chapel but im so tired atm i cant think haha

At her official Homepage it´s only said that she make a Tour only in Australia next year,so hopefully she is coming to Europe & America.

Well apparently there may be a tour in other parts of the world, but I'm guessing it wouldn't be for at least a year or 2. This tour is already a lot later than we originally thought it would be haha.
