HANSON: May Means HANSON Day

Welcome to the month of May! If you didn’t know May has always been a special month for HANSON. We played our first gig ever in May, we released our first major album Middle of Nowhere in May (as well as a few more) and of course HANSON Day is celebrated in May. HANSON Day is officially May 6th, but this year our festivities will be held May 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th, with our final Concert stream and Nightcap happening Sunday the 19th.
HANSON Day has changed a lot over the years. At first it was just a formality, then fans began to celebrate, and a few years down the road, almost by chance, we began to host one-off events around the date. Today it is really HANSON Week. We start with the official Premiere of our annual Members EP on Wednesday the 15th, and every day seems to get more full, until it all wraps up on Sunday night with the broadcast of our HANSON Day concert, as well as a Q&A and hang for our Nightcap stream. It can be hard to explain HANSON Day to the uninitiated… but it would be fair to say our goal is to bring people together in as many ways as possible before we say goodbye on Sunday night.
Inspire with new music Wednesday, Challenge with the Scavenger Hunt Thursday, Laugh together at HTP Live, Sing together at Karaoke, Share at the HANSON Day Gallery Friday, Surprise at the Beyond Perennial Concert, Bond at the I Heart To Bowl Tournament Saturday, Delight at the HANSON Day concert, and Dance the night away at the Dance Party. Here is to a great year! Now we have to get back to preparing for your arrival!
